We came to use our gift and at was out of date. No way to raise it with the company, 24 months goes quickly in modern life. Bit of a swizz! Don't buy one for friends as it might be wasted

Poor service

I bought a Smartbox gift voucher for a meal for my parents for Christmas. My parents could not use the card because it had to be activated on the Smartbox system. This meant I had to phone SmartBox customer service twice to activate the card. When we went to the restaurant to spend the voucher, the menu we could order from was a special menu with a small number of dishes. This wasn't clear to me when I bought the voucher.

Delivery problem

Not used the smart box jet, but the web experience was good, easy to browse. Very disappointed with the delivery. I payed extra for the next day delivery as it was a birthday gift and took instead it 3 days to arrive (obviously late!).

Had problems purchasing

Had problems purchasing my smart box as my existing payment card had expired so tried to register my current card but the website wouldn’t let me, not sure if there was a problem with the website on this particular day but in the end my husband purchased it through his PayPal account as I don’t have one, but the smart box only took a couple of days to arrive so no complaints about this just the website not very easy to use when you want to update your personal details

Not satisfied at all

Honestly, really disappointed with the staff who don’t care about you opinion on important things who suggest to improve. That’s it, you spend a lot of time to join custumer service. Non one care, just au Email robot. No significant answer about my request, and I lost 125€ with the box I haven't use either.Pay, consume and shut up. Pathetic !Honnêtement, très déçu. Une box perdue d'une valeur de 125€. Tout ça a cause d'une politique que ne permet pas de valoriser le produit après une certaine date d'utilisation. Beaucoup d’argent dépensé et quand on s’adresse au staff pour avoir la possibilité de renouveler ou prolonger la box, pas de réponse. Juste un mail automatique.Vraiment, on est juste des portefeuilles et rien d’autres. Décevant.P.S : Malgré la réponse sympathique ci-dessous, aucun arrangement n’a pu être négocié. 125€ et une activité perdus ...

Have been given a smartbox hotel…

Had an issue regarding a voucher I had been given, however as a result of fantastic help from customer services especially Roxanne Ryan now am very happy to have received one of their vouchers as a birthday gift. Thank you so much
