this is my worst experience buying a car from a GMC car dealer! they will look after you until you make a purchase and then you will realize that you were simply deceived by giving some promises and GM financing was even worse. very rude in communication, they can just hang up. everything that is written about them, I confirm it is true! I was very disappointed in them and will never again in my life buy these cars and their financing and will not recommend and protect my friends and relatives from this!
I wouldn’t suggest this company to my worst enemy. No customer service, lack of professionalism. And they actually scamming you, sending you to a 3rd party collector to make a payment to them and charge you a crazy amount for a fee.
I bought a brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado Z71 back in May with 48 miles on it. And it’s been nothing but a headache less than 6 months later. A common problem in these New Silverado’s online-the lifters went completely bad the truck is no longer driveable.But there has still yet to be a “recall” because “ that’s only something the government issues. Anyhow-here we are 3 weeks later-no truck-no answers-same run around from Sam pierce-GM financial-and American Chevrolet that it’s not anyone of their responsibilities to fix the problem. No rental coverage-because” sorry there aren’t any rental cars for 2 weeks out”! no answers. We are an 8 person family with 2 full time jobs on one car and still expected to pay this months payment on a truck we haven’t even had in our possession and don’t know when we will get it back.No one wants to take responsibility and I hope this saves someone the headache to think twice before u deal with another 80 million dollar company that doesn’t care if u loose ur job because of their faulty vehicles. Couldn’t even cover a rental car when u sign an agreement to pay on a 52,000 truck. You would think if u can’t cover a rental-and ur completely without the vehicle they would atleast compensate the time it wasn’t in ur posssesion at the very least! Just sick!
GM RE-TITLED MY CAR AND MAILED IT TO SOMEONE ELSE AFTER I PAID IT OFF!! I bought a Cadillac SRX Put $5,000. Down during purchase, paid more than due, early every month. I decided to pay in off when I sold my home. My attorney send funds from proceeds. They took the title out of my name and put the title in the attorneys name and mailed it to him! While I was waiting on my Cadillac title, finally called and they said who ever pays it off. That who we retired and send the title to. If someone finds you have a GM loan.. and you pay it for years and are close to pay off. Anyone can pay it off! Even if you owe $100. On pay off. GM Financial puts the title in that persons name and mails it to them!!! I spoke with management and That Is There Policy! No verification needed. They just send you title off to someone else!
In January of 2020 after buying a new car we missed making 1 payment, as we never recieved a bill. As soon as we discovered that our payment was late we paid it plus the next one. I then signed up to autopay, which I feel uncomfortable with because I'm not very computer savvy. Too late. They turned us in to the credit bureau, which made our insurance go up over $1,000. I've spoken to each credit agency and written to gmfinancial. I recieved my credit reports and have never missed a payment, except for this 1 in nearly 50 years, but gmfinancial has told me that that is not good enough and that mark will remain. Don't deal with this company!
This company is dogsh!t and I will never use it again customer service sucks wait time when you call in is 30-60 min just to talk to some one because you can’t use the online functions to try and get the information you need to refinance. Half of the time you call the person answering the phone doesn’t even know what they’re allowed to do or not allowed to do trying to get a copy of the title them telling me I’m not allowed to get a copy I’m trying to get it to my bank and then later on five calls later oh let me send that right over. Several occasions they’ve sent a copy of my title and they fu(ked it up so my bank can’t use it and I cannot refinance it. I will never use this dog poopoo company again because I feel like they are just trying to drag this out to get the most money out of me as possible. And I will make sure anyone I know stays away from this company to the best of my ability because you guys refuse to fix this issue no matter how many times I call
GM financial is the worst when it comes to customer service. Their employees are frigid individuals that are cold hearted and will not go the extra mile to help you out. They suck big time. I wouldn't recommend them at all. They do not know the meaning of good customer service.
Cannot wait to refinance my current loan with someone else, worst company ever. Poor customer service is the least of their problems. I was given a deferment during COVID and somewhere within my 3 year lease missed a payment, they repossessed the vehicle but told me if I pay them 3 months it would not go on my credit report, it was paid the following day. Still went on my credit report and they will not reverse it when technically I only missed 1 payment when the car was in the shop for 2 months. I was told I did not call after the 3 months so it wasn’t valid although I started to pay after the 3 months and not once was I ever contacted by GM financial they just showed up one day and took the vehicle. Now I can’t get approved for a mortgage because of them.
Recently I was diagnosed with Covid and had to delay my car payment. I was given two options and was told by the customer service representative that if anything changed to call back. I did just that. Sarah started asking me a lot of questions and had to talk to her manager. She started asking more questions then proceeded to say that I don’t qualify for a deferment after reviewing my account. I was not feeling the greatest and after all that I told her to have a nice day and hung up. After I pay this car off or even before then I am going to trade it in. No recommendation here. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
Let me just start off by saying do not and I mean do not ever ever work with this company. They lie about how they report to the credit bureaus they steal your money even when you have proof that your payments go through they report so badly to the credit bureaus they're very shady they're very very inappropriate they're very unprofessional I hope I save whoever May read my review please do not ever work with GM financial they are the worst company ever they are their customer service is unprofessional there everything about the company is just so horrible I've learned my lesson when people say read reviews read reviews cuz it will save you and I wish I did because I will never ever ever want to work with this company again and if you know what's good for you I wouldn't work with them either if you look at the stats they have a rating of 1.7 I wonder why because they're such a shady ass company
