I even don't want to give even a single star as we don't have 0 stars. I want use all bad words to describe Goibibo and makemytrip as makemytrip controls goibibo. i came to know this later when i booked my ticket on goibibo. Such a hopeless company and hopeless staff. i booked tickets to say X place and later want to change the date. Let me tell you these guys made me drink 7 lakes of water. i kept on calling everyday for 10days just for a change date, everyday new person will pick the call and i have to tell him/her the story all over again and again and again. seriously don't know how to reach these guys. The AI will eat you away initially on the call and later after good amt of time the lady AI will connect to customer care by that time you will be almost exhausted and later you have to tell the same story to the person who attends the call. and one day i have decided i will complete it today anyhow. i called up Emirates and kept that person on the line and took this goibibo person online and then they did it after 10 tough days. very very very bad experience. never ever book tickets on this site. probably we think we can save some amount by booking tickets on these sites but later if you have some changes, you will loose all peace. so better go and book on the flight sites only.
I bought flight ticket from Goibibo on 22/12/2025 for kolkata to Portblair round trip
(journey 15/01/26 kolkata to Portblair and 21/01/26 Portblair to Kolkata) ,my
21/01/26 journey was cancelled by Spicejet airlines mail given by Spicejet on
01/01/26. I didn't get the refund from Goibibo yet. I call them everyday but they said
they don't get any updates from the airlines (Spicejet), but I call to Spicejet they said that,
refund was made by them to the Goibibo on 22/01/26. Still I didn't get the refund.what to do?

This is very bad experience
I reserved 4 hotel rooms for 8 adults and 7 children, including extra beds, for a stay planned on December 25, confirmed a month in advance. Upon arrival at the hotel, we found there were no extra beds available. When I asked the staff, they revealed they had already requested the cancellation of our booking on the first day. They contacted the manager and informed him about our need for extra beds. He handed me the phone, and when I inquired about the extra bed, he directed me to customer support, indicating he was aware of the issue but did nothing to help. I reached out to customer support; they spoke with the hotel, then the agent abruptly disconnected, saying, "I'll check with my manager and get back to you in 10 minutes." That so-called "support" team finally called me the next evening, asking, "Have you managed your stay?" Such a lack of empathy, especially since I clearly stated we had 7 children with us. The staff showed no spine—the manager was so ineffective that even when the hotel requested to cancel, he took no action. They provided no solutions, merely suggesting, "Go argue with the hotel or manager or whatever you wish." I had a similar issue with another service once, but they promptly upgraded my accommodation and reimbursed my taxi fare for the move.
I reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights for 8 adults and 2 children, including breakfast. However, during check-in, I was informed that I had only paid for 9 guests and had to cover the cost for an additional person out of my own pocket, despite having a booking voucher for 10. This experience has left my family and me quite frustrated with the service provided by the platform and the hotel. Additionally, it’s important to note that the property policy did not specify a security deposit, yet I had to pay 9000 baht for the rooms. There were many unexpected issues with the hotel. I advise anyone traveling from India to Bangkok to double-check their booking details if considering this hotel.
This has been the most frustrating booking experience I've ever had. After my flight was canceled, I requested a refund but received no follow-up or information regarding it. Additionally, my attempts to reach the customer support team were met with silence. I would not suggest this service to anyone.

Eventually, I had to post my concern on social media, and it was resolved quickly, thanks to their social media team. However, the customer service remains inadequate. I highly recommend booking directly with the airlines, as they are much more helpful and accessible.

I had a horrible and unsafe experience with a travel service — I will never book with them again. After our bus broke down at 12:25 AM, we discovered a lack of maintenance. The staff was rude, refused to provide water, and wasted time trying to make passengers find their own transport. After waiting until 6 AM with no assistance, I had to pay extra to reach my destination. This was a terrifying experience, and I received no support from the company. I booked a hotel through the company's website for a stay from November 19 to 23, 2025. After my stay, I received a link to review the hotel, but my review did not appear on their site. I have called and emailed the support team multiple times, but they have not responded adequately.
