I visited GREEN KING FLEMING ARMS SOUTHAMPTON.We arrived and was led to our table which we had booked. the waiting staff offered super service Food hot I would like to congratulate the team in Particular a young lady KACEY quick service nothing was too much trouble,she was friendly and full of life excellent
Zero care given to my mother in law who fell down a step inside the restaurant of Shephard’s House in Bracknell. I had to ask for a glass of water for her!! Her lip is very swollen and the response from the manager was ‘she’s ok, she put her hands out’. Awful response. This could have been so much worse. And to top it all, the food wasn’t very good either. If you’re considering it, my advise would be don’t bother.
i’m am appolled at the restaurant in east kilbride,i tried to order the chick N mix and there was a limited menu,due to this i ordered a the Steak & Ale pie slice, and then i proceeded bite into it and it was stone cold/frozen i personally would not serve this in my home to my own family,i think this is an absolute disgrace, that there was a “chef” that looked like he was about 15 and not qualified or old enough to work in a restaurant like this even though there was a head chef training him and the head chef let this food out of the kitchen uncooked ,this is a disgrace
hungry horse pub "Heald green" Stockport Greater Manchesterbeen going to this pub twice a week for meals for 1 !/2 years at least used to be good standard of food e.t.c. for the last 10 weeks there has been no hot tea/coffee available many times there has been no hot chocolate nether there excuse on asking "we are waiting on new parts, today they changed there excuse can't get a repair person. a few weeks ago i suggested they should replace the machine their answer head office won't pay for a new 1 not sure but maybe they are not in a hurry to serve hot drinks is because they make more profit from the sale of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages well me and my 2 friends will not be going back again , as usual big businesses putting profit before customer service/comfort
Cranleigh pub, Southbourne, Bournemouth So we booked a table today earliest time was 8.15pm although this was late we decided to go, on arrival the place was quite nice but extremely quiet only a handful of people eating, why couldn’t we get an earlier table? Anyway we ordered our food and drinks on the app £55 food arrived quickly and was ok, we finished our main meals at 9pm and went to order our puddings on the app but unable so went to the bar and was told the kitchen had closed!! 😳 so after making a point the bar tender said she would have to do it!! £11, puddings came out 5 mins later cold!! Not heated enough in the microwave but nobody around to complain to so we ate it cold 😏 just before we left we went to the toilet should have waited until I got home doors filthy, toilets filthy, sink hanging off the wall general décor in poor condition and lots of clutter and rubbish piled up in the walkways to the toilet not a great sight! Also hand rail and guard missing off steps on back door this is dangerous Greene king!! What if somebody fell off the side of the steps? I don’t think I will be coming back very poor standard
I have used the Green King many times and I find the quality of food and service is very good for the price.I often find that when something goes wrong you can start to understand if you can trust a brand or not.Mistakes sometimes happen and today the food I was served was lukewarm.I told the waitress who apologised even though it was not her fault.Our meals were replaced without any fuss and we are now enjoying our food.It was the lack of fuss that early this brand a 5 star review.That and the friendly waitress who solved the problem so well
We had a surprise 70th party at the Ardencaple Hotel in Helensburgh on Sunday 23rd April 2023 and would like to extend our appreciation for a member of your staff - her name is Jenna Brand a lovely young lady full of enthusiasm, kind and so helpful that we wish that her service to us be noted - a credit to your Company. I am in the Green King Bar in Cambridge as I write this. We have just ordered food and drink. I asked the server if I cd have the prawns fried in butter instead of oil as I can't stand vegetable oils which are awful for health. She turned to the chef (who was sitting on a stool behind us) and asked him. He said "no". I turned and asked "why not? Surely you have butter in the kitchen", My partner offered to pay more as well". He refused to oblige, said he only had one pan and it had oil in it. This I don't believe, no kitchen has only one pan. Anyway he could have used a saucepan to fry the prawns in butter for me. He smirked in a nasty derisive way at me, happy to have refused me. Horrible man. The server young lady was lovely and looked embarrassed.
I regularly visit the Red Lion, Drayton, Norfolk. I've always found the staff friendly and they provide excellent service. The food is always well prepared and served promptly. The tenant of the pub, Kath, is always friendly and welcoming.
What are you doing stopping cash being used in some of your Establishments You are not a retailer that sells high value items. You are a pub chain that sells drinks and packets of crisps By all means let people use their cards if they wish but you have taken the choice away from your customers for them to pay as they choose Clearly you haven’t considered what your customers want, just took it on yourself to take the choice away from them.Driving towards a cashless society where banks will have free reign to increase the already questionable charges for card use, but then you can always just pass that on to the customer, if you are not already doing so.
