Buyer beware

Buyer beware. This company makes good tools, but their customer service sucks. You can not reach them by phone or chat, and they send a response to emails telling you to contact them by phone or by chat. I will never purchase another one of their tools and I will be taking my business to a company that cares about their customers. I strongly suggest that you do the same.

This company is as close to a scam as a…

This company is as close to a scam as a comany in the hardware space could be. We were gifted one of their lawnmowers with 2 brand new batteries and shortly after one of the two batteries stopped charging. After purchibg a replacement for about the cost of a new gas mower, the new battery stopped working after one single use. I spend hours on the phone but never got through but then had to hunt down an email just to get a reply only to be told that the battery was not covered for a refund which directly contradicts the policy on their website. Stay far away from this company. Its a total fraud.

Yep, just like everyone else I had a terrible experience.It will always be at least 1.5 hours on hold to speak with someone.Horrible company. Do. Not. Buy.

BUYER BEWARE

I bought a Greenworks 60v Pro: mower, weed eater, leaf blower and chainsaw so I would say I have spent plenty of money on their products. My battery stopped charging, so I called for help in repairing, I did not expect them to cover it under warranty because it was 1 year past their factory warranty. I just wanted advice on how I might fix the problem before buying another expensive battery. I am retired and on fixed income so I do not have a bunch of money laying around that I can spend. When their "agent" called back he was very short with me when I started to explain the situation. He was downright rude and stated he could not help. I will NEVER purchase from Greenworks again and will tell everyone I know, social media, YELP, Google...... all of them how lousy I was treated. BUYER BEWARE!!!! All of their propaganda is nonsense, "we care about the customer" falls very short.

TLDR:Bought combo

TLDR:Bought combo, battery sucked, waited a year almost, contacted their service via chat, sent me a new battery in 3 days. AWESOME!!!!LONG VERSION: I ordered a combo set in August of 2024. A weed whacker and battery. I used it once and tried to charge the battery.... would not charge (voltage to low). Jumped it with power supply to get the charger to recognize it. Forgot about it until June of 2025. Used it again and same result. Contacted Greenworks via their chat. Explained, gave them my battery info, and BAM they sent out a new battery. Got it in 3 days. AMAZING SERVICE!

Can we choose negative stars

Can we choose negative stars, this company deserves negative stars. ridiculous waiting time on customer support team. as if they are some big shot company. None of the parts are ever available on their website. Total useless company.

Beware of slimy Practices and Unfulfilled Paid Orders

I ordered a mower from Greenworks during a limited-time promo and was charged over $500. I never received any cancellation email. The order just sat in their system marked “unfulfilled” for weeks. When I finally contacted them via chat, they told me the item was out of stock and my order had been “canceled automatically" but system does not even show it or did they ever contact me. I was never notified, and no refund was issued until I demanded it. I still haven’t received it which probably means I will need to get it from my credit card company after a 2 month investigationThis company’s silence and behavior make it clear: they will take your money, cancel your order without telling you, and leave you chasing a refund for months. This is unacceptable.

Do not buy Greenworks tools

Their warranty on the batteries is terrible. The wait to talk to a service rep is exceedingly long and when you finally get a rep they keep putting you on hold asking for all serial numbers for each unit address phone number where purchased and on and on then they ask for a receipt that nobody has. The batteries dont last and the tools are cheap. Do not buy them get a name brand like Dewalt Makita Milwaukee etc they care about their customers.

I ordered a mower 8 weeks ago and still not received it I have rang the England telephone number they where not helpful Told to email the headquarters in Germany I have lost count of the emails I have sent No one will talk to you Still not received my mower asked for my money back and still no response
