horrible return policy

horrible return policy. It's been 18 days. And there is no way to cancel the item online. I have to call them. They won't cancel the order since order is accepted and processed. They want me to ship the item back when it is delivered. BUT they never shipped the item !!! WTF !!!!

Refund and Customer Service Terrible

Their Customer Service is Terrible, and their Refund Policy is unacceptable. You must wait for the product and then return it to get your refund. I will never use them again and will steer everyone away from this company.David Lasseter

I bought their cordless hedge trimmer

I bought their cordless hedge trimmer, lawn mower and strimmer. They do the job, but the lawn mower runs down the battery very quickly especially if the grass is is a little longer, BUT………..my biggest complaint is when in trying to remove the battery, especially from the hedge trimmer. It’s a massive design fault, it requires a strong grip on the battery and extra muscle to pull it free………anyone with arthritis will have no chance of freeing the battery when finished. For this reason I would not recommend anyone buying these appliances.

Get the customer's money and run.

I've bought numerous items from greenworks. Last one included SKU 2305102TMODEL# PH80L00. I was looking for just the chainsaw that would work with this. I didn't realize there were multiple pole types as there is no compatibility check on the website. (I know realize, after calling, I could have looked at the online book.) Silly me for not just knowing this. Received Oct 22nd, while all the leaves were falling (I opted to wait until they all fell), opened the box Nov 24th, and realized it was the wrong attachment. Called to see if I could exchange. I was told it was over 30 days. Great, I now have a tool attachment that cost over $130 dollars sitting in my garage that I can not use with anything. There should be some logic involved with a 30 day return policy. I was asking for an exchange, but you can't even do that? Not impressed, I should have bought something different from a local store that I could have returned if this is the nonsense expected from GreenWorks. A policy is not law, and common sense should be used.

Battery Packs No Punch Working or not.

I purchased the GWs 60w snowblower and handblower for my wife to use on the back deck. We have 4 batteries between the 2 tools 4AH. We need every one to get the job done with the snowblower. One failed, supposed to be under warranty but good luck. No online availability to formulate a return, no weekends, only working hours 9-5. Took all the info to work with me to talk to a rep and make a claim.Serial #, AH, date of manufacture, not enough apparently. Just let me send it back to you to fix or replace it I dont care. After 3 calls to CS from my work, I gave up. Keep the money I paid, I learned my lesson. At $250 each with 4 batteries is $1k. My gas snowblower never took more than 1/2 a jerry can a season. Less than $30... Not worth the cost or hassle.

Update.. with no delivery details emailed etc. The item turned up in 7days. Was a good price. Cust service still poor. Original post: I have purchased a chainsaw from greenworks.co.uk. I have received a confirmation of order all by email. I have not heard about delivery and we are a week in.. when I contacted the website. I was told they could not track delivery or advise upon it. All online orders are not for filled are by them, they are delivered from global tools in Germany... Their parting advise was to cancel the sale with my bank if I wasn't happy... Superb customer services... Unreal.. no product received as yet. So guess I will be going it to dispute with them.

I have a Greenworks snow shovel

I have a Greenworks snow shovel, string trimmer, and leaf blower plus a chainsaw. The battery with the chainsaw works well (so far) but the 80V batteries with the other 3 products are pure CRAP. They last less than 2 years and that is if they are used sparingly. Greenworks replaced one at no charge but the others are now not working - I suggest you avoid these products. The products, when they work, work very well but the batteries are absolute crap.
