Greenworks unreachable in the UK

Greenworks products I have bought have been good, so far (a few months in). The problem I had was when I received the wrong product.. a 40 V hedge trimmer instead of the 24 V I had ordered (all my other tools are 24V so it was unusable.) I could not reach Greenworks to get it swapped: the help and returns page in the UK website goes to some company that says they are no longer part of Greenworks, who have no UK base any more. One query I sent was replied to from Greenworks USA! Three weeks later nothing has happened, nobody got back. In the end I read the delivery label, and realised the error was probably a picking problem at their UK warehousing partners Hacklings in Swindon. So I called Hacklings and gave them a polite earful. At first they wanted to make it Greenworks' problem, but I called back again and insisted it was their mistake to rectify. Eventually they agreed to make the swap. I'm annoyed that I had to do this all myself, and Greenworks were unavailable to help.

Not compatible, no full refund, not a good service

I bought several Greenworks tools and by mistake tools a leaf blower with 40V my other outlets are either 24v or 80v and this is not compatible. I bought a new battery from Greenworks website and the realized that the charger is also not compatible and was not included. Called customer service to buy the charger or return the battery and got a very bas service. They want to sell that charger full price and not allow me to pay the difference of the pack with toold+battery+charger and to return I need to pay the shipping cost t my own expense. Not really what I call a good customer service. Some help would be appreciated.

Greenworks pressure washer easy to assemble

I bought a green works pressure washer from Costco a few weeks ago … model number GPW2100-1. I haven’t used it yet but I just finished assembling it. This review is just to say how nicely everything fit together and how clear the instructions were. There’s not much to assemble but what there is was very easy to put together. I haven’t used it yet but will report again once I’ve had the opportunity to wash down the driveway and the siding on the house.

Would rate 0 if possible, one item missing, which I have receive a refund for, and the wrong lawnmower has been sent, nearly 3 months later no resolution. Awful company

60"zero turn mower low run time

I purchased a 60"zero turn mower in the fall after grass cutting season ended. When I started to use it on a regular basis (Late May) I found out it would only run for 50 minutes. Called a number of times and was informed that the batteries were defective. They sent me new batteries, but they were not the right ones. Now they tell me they have no batteries, and it will be end of August or September before they get them? I paid $7500 for this mower. It advertised 4.5 hour run time and I get less than an hour. They have no answers for me other than to wait! I would love to return it a get a gas mower.

Incorrect delivery and no customer service

I have had previous greenworks products which have been great. This time I ordered a ‘combo’ of 40v lawnmower with 2 x 2ah batteries and charger and a brush cutters. They delivered 2 brush cutters and no lawnmower! No response to any ‘case’ forms submitted via website after over 14 days.

Rip off company

Rip off company! Terrible product! Bought a mower and used it a couple of times and then stored it in a dry shed for 3 months max, with the batteries in my kitchen cupboard having charged them fully, only to discover when I went back to use it again - the batteries only hold the charge for about 10 minutes now. The plastic starter switch is badly manufactured and feels like it is going to break, and the handle assembly is really hard to get into position - it is really heavy and awkward to use! DO NOT BY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I do own probably a half dozen of these tools which I’ve bought over 3 years. It makes sense to me as the batteries are interchangable and with the exception of the snow blower I’ve found them decent. However... I noticed even with my first experince their customer support was not up to par. As time has gone on “not up to par” is an extraordinary understatement. Today they were both rude and combative. In short GREENWORKS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I would give no stars if I could and have lost complete faith in the company.

Horrible products and even worse…

Horrible products and even worse customer service … power washer did not work properly..would not dispense soap.. pump did not work! this was the reason for the purchase as I wanted to wash the siding..PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM THESE GUYS… YOU WILL REGRET IT! Complete waste!
