Poor customer service waiting on the phone for 45 minutes a senior and I have all green work…

I'm a senior and I have all green work tools 40 and 80 volts snow blowers lawn mowers and blowers and my blower quit working I called Greenworks I was left on hold for more than 45 minutes until I hung up and then when I called at 6:45 p.m. it said that we were closing early today what is going on your customer service is inadequate and it's going to take the business down

No delivery, no communications, I just want a refund

Placed order (UK9481) on 27 May for additional batteries showing 'in stock'. It is now 24th July and despite several cases raised on their system and 3 emails ... nothing. No response other than automated message saying my case will be dealt with - It hasn't. I have no confidence in this company and will not be ordering from them in the future. I just want my money back!

Received a stick vacuum with a battery…

Received a stick vacuum with a battery that was dead and would not take a charge. Waited over 40 minutes for a CSR to answer and finally I hung up. I will cancel the charge on my CC with my bank

You Get the Battery but NO Mower and You Can’t Return it!

I ordered a self propelled lawn mower and an extra battery from Greenworks. My battery was delivered on schedule but no mower. Yet Greenworks claimed they delivered the mower too and charged me for it. FedEx delivered the battery and backed me up with a picture that showed they didn’t deliver the mower. They also claimed that they never receive the mower from Greenworks for delivery. Greenworks ended up refunding the cost of the mower but would not accept the return of the battery. I had to file a claim with Chase and Chase refunded my money. Kudos to Chase. I’m not sure if Chase made it happen but Greenworks refunded the money for the battery as well. Greenworks has absolutely no customer support. They never returned a call or responded to my complaints so I have no idea what happened.

Exceptional Service

I have been utilizing their products since 2018 and have become a strong advocate for their exceptional quality, which stands unrivaled in the market. Throughout my experience, I have encountered no issues with any of their products, including the batteries, which continue to perform reliably without requiring replacement. My interactions with their customer service have consistently been positive. Most recently, I reached out regarding a replacement part for my lawnmower that I was unable to locate online. Remarkably, the item was delivered within less than five days, a level of customer service that is truly exceptional and rarely seen in the industry.

I bought a Greenworks Optimow 15 robot…

I bought a Greenworks Optimow 15 robot in March 2023, it basically died in May 2025 and wouldn’t charge. It has been with HandyIreland now for 13 weeks for repair. The seller stated that Greenworks take over the warranty after a year. Despite several emails I’ve only received automated replies stating they will get back to me promptly and they are uncontactable by phone. Basically their after sales service/repair is absolutely scandalous and a disgrace. This was not a cheap buy. I’m single, work full time and bought it to make my life easier. Instead I’m stressed beyond measure. Don’t waste your hard earned money

Poor quality. Worse Customer Service

We bought this or a similar model several years ago.. The water intake value pulled off. I called and was told the part was not available but to call back in a week. After holding for almost an hour on two occasions, I got a nice person on the phone and asked for pictures, model and serial numbers and to email them back. They said the part was not replaceable but they needed the purchase date to see if it would be a warranted claim. When we finally found the purchase date it was out of warranty. This part is essentially the female end of a hose and the whole unit is now junk because of the failure of a very poorly designed and manufacture part. When they found out the unit was out of warranty, they washed their hands of me. I never asked for anything for free. I just needed help to fix the unit. I was willing to pay. They were unwilling to help. The One Star is for build quality and customer service. The unit, when working, works well.

Stay clear of this company

Exceedingly long phone wait time 1.5 hours. Then disconnected. Returned an item that FedEx destroyed in shipping. Never had I been through such ridiculousness in returning an item. Would not give a full refund on shipping. Way better products on the market to choose from than Greenworks,which is what I ended up doing

Customer service is awesome.

I had a problem with my battery-operated garden tiller, and the Greenworks customer service department did a super job of helping me resolve that problem.
