I contacted Greenworks customer service regarding a flashing red light during charging. Unfortunately, my experience with the agent named Merci was disappointing. I mistakenly provided a different model number that was listed on the same unit, and instead of helping clarify the issue, the agent was rude and dismissive. I expected more patience and professionalism, especially for something as simple as a model number mix-up.
Had a backpack sprayer for less than one year. Unit just stopped working. Contacted customer service to get answers to fix or replace. Customer service is one of the worst of any major brand company. When the product works it’s good. Keep fingers crossed when buying this brand, warranty is non existent.
I've not received my order yet (so I cannot comment on quality) - but the customer service is unbelievably bad. They list a contact number on their website that links to a company that claim they have nothing to do with them. The "cancel order" buttons on their website don't work. (I want to cancel order UK11076 for anyone there reading this?!)Worried I've ordered through a scam company?
Worst customer service of "any" business I have ever needed to contact! Due to such, I will never look at another item of theirs. NEVER! Plus, be prepared to be forced to listen to numerous "sales pitches" of totally irrelevant products that have nothing to do with their items! eq: Medicare sales pitch.....wth?
Have bought poles and hedge trimmer about a year ago both motors have just BLOWN UP they have not done much work, also have a 41cm mower all ok so far but dosenot like damp weather gosethrough batteries quickly. I have a med size garden. needs stronger motors.
Hard to know where to begin on this! I have bought a riding mower, a snowblower and a self-propelled 22-in lawn mower, all within the past week. I have yet to open them, because I've been so disappointed with the customer service. The problem starts with their online ordering which lacks the ability to cancel an order at any time. I'm waiting for the 22-in self-propelled mower to arrive by FedEx because I have been unable to cancel the order even though I finally was able to reach somebody after more than 48 hours to discuss the problem. It appears that my only choice is to pay $45 and return the mower in its original packaging. A waste of money!I'll know the quality of the product once I unpack them, but the no-return policy on riding mowers is disconcerting. I understand the reason for it, BUT I WOULD NOT BUY DIRECT ON-LINE! It's not much cheaper, and most retailers Have some sort of a return policy. Lowes. Tractor Supply.I'll report back on them after I get them unpacked and running.I can only hope that the Ordering Process is their only weak link.
Nice mower until something broke in the handle requiring warranty service in only 3 months. Nearest service centervis an hour away. Told by them I'd have to get in line and wait! Others before me, have to get parts from China. I'll be without the mower for at least a monthBEWARE!!! Had issues known this,I would have bought something that can be serviced locally with a quick turn around. My lawn doesn't carethat it will take this long to be mowed!NEVER AGAIN!!!
As other UK customers have said there is no customer service and says fill in online form and submit as customer service and ordering now not in UK. Now submitted 4 time and its been weeks and still no reply. Wish I'd never ordered the mower direct from them. Today 2 batteries were delivered but this time I ordered off Amazon, but one of those does not work either but at least I had a response from Amazon. So, still not able to use the mower as it takes 2x24 volt batteries and doesn't seem to work with just 1. Not at all happy. Would never buy from Greenworks agsin
I have owned a Green works Electric power washer for about 20 years.I had to abandon my property in 2014,and put it in storage, where it remained until until 2024.It was in my garage until June of 2025,when I decided might as well give it a try. Lo and behold,it works perfectly! A great piece of equipment! Thank,Green works.
Customer service seems to be virtually nonexistent.I purchased several Greenworks tools from Amazon.co.uk a couple of years ago and a few are now suffering problems but trying to find out how to make a warranty claim is like pulling teeth.* greenworkstools.co.uk seems to be the right website to use, but the customer services phone number listed on there seems to be for a different company and has a recorded message saying they can't assist with third-party orders* greenworkstools.eu seems to now be shut down and redirects to the UK site* greenworkstools.com is for north America* gwtoolsdirect.co.uk is a separate entity run by Handy Distribution which is a separate seller/supplier of Greenworks branded toolsIt seems like the brand and its distributors is very much in flux and this is causing a huge headache for customers. Please, Greenworks, take control of this situation and make it clear where customers should be contacting for support.
