Review Time
The customer service trip said my warranty claim part would arrive in 3 to 5 business days which i found hard to believe. It has been 8 business days and it's only at the label created stage according to tracking information. As the other reviews state. The hold time to actually reach someone was excessively long.
Order UK10663 Pole hedge trimmer. Order confirmed 17/06/25. I started contacting Greenworks 2 weeks after ordering and received some automated replies. I like other reviewers were asked to supply address information that was originally included in the order (I can only assume it was a time wasting measure by Greenworks). It has been over 5 weeks now and Greenworks have not replied to any emails in the past two weeks.
Worst Customer Service. I ordered a mower from them and I am still trying to get a response for when it will be delivered. They provided a date to begin with but I can't follow up in any way.The Chat bot just says it can't send you to a person and it doesn't know anything about shipping of the order.Their info email that came with the product purchase. @greenworks.com responds that it only accepts emails from known people. That is worthless. obviously gmail isn't a good email address.Third I tried to contact them 3 times on 3 different days via phone. I have waited on hold for a hour each time that ends up being 3 hours so far and haven't spoken to a person.When the product arrives I will be discussing a return. I will let you know how that goes. For a mower I need to work with a company who can support their product.
Unbelievable customer service -- spent all day trying to reach on hold. Left call back number - no response. Also tried Vivian on-line but she doesn't understand a simple request for help. What a disappointment when all I need is a replacement part for a mower still under warranty.. I would say avoid this company at all cost!!
Only received one battery. Ordered a battery, a 21 inch self propelled lawnmower,and a 16 inch Chainsaw. Called and got nowhere with their AI chatbot. Called back after being disconnected by chat bot and was on hold waiting for an hour and six minutes to get a person, never happened. Although every minute and 50 seconds a tape would suggest that you contact their AI chatbot to get help. I have the photo sent by FedEx and all emails and time stamps including the rejected email that their postmaster returned because I didn't below to the organization. That was using the problem with order email button they provide on their emails to me.
I've got a lot of Greenworks tools. Whilst they are working they are fine. However customer service is rubbish and maintenance is a nightmare. For instance my battery driven 40 volt mower had an issue with the start button falling off. An easy fix I thought. Oh No!!! How wrong was i. The button is held in place with a screw from the inside of the handle. Everybody knows that taking a handle off a spring loaded mechanism is a recipe for disaster. If humans were built like an octopus it may not be so bad. However we are not. And holding everything into place with springs popping off is an absolute nightmare. Who designed these things. It's ridiculous. I'm not even sure a lawnmower repair man could mend it. I now can't use my mower and I definitely can't afford another one.
I have an error on a new lawnmower and can't find out what it's trying to tell me. The wait for customer service is very long and you have to have all the serial numbers including batteries before they will talk to you. These errors should be documented.
