Greenworks does not provide parts for or repair their leaf blower line. I needed a new fan for my BLB489 blower as one plastic blade was missing which made it very loud and unbalanced and they won't let me buy one. Their reason is that disassembling the case could damage everything else inside. How poor is the build quality? Very disappointed and will never buy Greenworks products again.
Please don't waste your money. All of there products are totally trash the battery don't stay charge for about 15 minutes. You won't be able to half of your lawn without the battery dying. If I could give it a 0 I would have. Totally trash.
Purchased the 21 inch mower. Two 40v batteries do not last long enough. I have a small yard but I had to replace the battery FOUR times while mowing and wait for a recharge. Unit is very irritating the operate. Holding down the start key and holding the bail switch does not start the mower, as I expected. Have to wait several minutes before the mower would start or restart and that really delays the mowing. Using my gas powered mower I could mow the little bit of grass I have in about 45 minutes. Using this mower it took me nearly 90 minutes, or twice as long, to do the same job.
Had the 48v 360mm cordless mower for 3 years. Reliable. Becoming unuseable because the handle height is unajustable. Now very painful stooping to operater/push it. I am 5’ 10” it is built for Tyrion Lannister. Max height for comfortable useage 5’00” great pity. This has been remarked many times company has done nothing over years. 1 * for Company.
WOW. I'm reading negative reviews here and I'm shocked! We bought a blower 2 years ago and we use it heavily. I mean driveway eavestrough and whatever else comes to mind and it NEVER disappoints. We doubled down and bought a weed whacked and it works great. I need to get my walking shoes on when the wife has it cause I never know how far away she will be. And just recently we bought the pole saw off Amazon when it arrived the box had minor damage but nothing showed on the saw itself. I put it together and it didn't work. We called the customer service and after 2 or possibly 3 selections we got a live (north America) representative that walked me through everything from battery to blade. She even insisted on waiting for me to go out to the garage and get bar oil so she could try and figure out the problem. In the end it was no use it didn't work. Today is 2 days after that call and a brand new saw was waiting at my door when I got home tonight! Thank you greenworks for a great product that has customer satisfaction as part of the purchase. It's a rare thing these days. We are loyal customers for sure.
Customer service doesn’t getting any worse than this. Bought a 80V blower which was suppose to be new and when order was paid for showed as a renew. What the hell is a renew well it’s a refurbish after some digging. Called customer service the next morning at 9 am and they advised they don’t accept returns after 30 minutes (shady). I advised him that I wanted a blower but wanted a new one not some garbage someone else sent back. So in essence I was asking to upgrade and pay any difference. He advised me again that because it a renew sale is final. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and waited approx. 5 minutes and the same customer rep advised that he consulted a supervisor and he was sending the order to shipping to cancel and I would receive an email. Well the email I received a couple hours after that advised no returns after 30 minutes smh. So I called back and got another customer service rep and asked her if I could speak to a supervisor. She asked why? I told her why and then she advised me to respond to the email I received as that was the supervisor. She refused to transfer me and wouldn’t give so much as a first name or customer service ID. She basically read from a card the same thing over and over again. I was so confused as to why you would ask me why I wanted to speak to a supervisor if you don’t intend on allowing it. It wouldn’t have all been so bad however they confirmed it wasn’t shipped yet. This is not done yet as I am seeking legal recourse through Better Business Bureau. I wish I would have done more research prior to purchasing here to see all the negative reviews. This company obviously does not stand behind its products otherwise they would have simply replaced their renew with actually what I believed I was purchasing a new one. You will get nowhere with customer service which is a joke to even be called that because you receive no service. They should just let the phone ring as they are wasting your time answering. Good luck if you go down that road.
Genuinely one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had with a company. I placed an order on their UK website on 21 March and as of today (9 April) I have not received the items, and have no idea when to expect them or if they're even coming. Their website says delivery in 3-5 days but that's clearly not accurate. I've tried contacting support on their website and got no response, replied to my order invoice email which was no help, and finally ended up phoning a number I Googled on two occasions only to find out that Greenworks doesn't have a way to contact them directly for customer service and its a third party company in the UK who handles enquiries for them and forwards them on. I've done what this third party company advised to cancel the order but at this point I have no faith. Will never order from them again.
