Customer service and warranty are horrible now. I have had Greenworks products for 5 years and own almost everything they make on the 60v platform. Spent close to 14k or 15k total over the years. I only stayed with them because their customer service and warranty were great in the beginning. Now they both are horrible and I will be switching to another brand. Almost half of everything I have bought die within 1-2 years and need to be replaced. They were great and just replaced but why are their so many quality issues? My main issue is the zero turn and 2 stage snow blower. Both are large amd heavy and require being sent to their partner service centers on my dime and time but of course they don't have any closer than 75 minutes away each way. I don't own a truck and trailer so have to rent or figure that out each time. Drive to drop off, drive home then drive to pick up and drive home for expensive equipment that both died within 1-2 years of purchase. The zero turn took 3 months for them to fix. We will see about the snow blower. Save yourself the headache and go with a different brand. Speaking with the repair people they told me the best company to work with is the main electric company that starts with E.Once all my warranty's are over, I will be switching and selling all this greenworks crap.
Would give this company 0 stars if i could. The WORST customer support ive ever had. Shipped me a broken snowblower that did not run ($3000 CAD) and would not return it. Demanded i drive it 1 hour to the nearest service center. When i told them i didnt have a vehicle so id rather get a refund- they would not pay for shippig even for a broken item they shipped. BUY ELSEWHERE
I wish to express my profound dissatisfaction regarding my purchasing experience on the Greenworks website. In the event of a product return, customer support proves to be entirely ineffective. Despite obtaining the shipping form and sending the merchandise, Greenworks has not been proactive in providing updates or proceeding with the due refund.The only method that proved effective in obtaining assistance and the refund was the intervention of PayPal. Therefore, I strongly advise against making purchases on Greenworks, unless you use PayPal as a payment method, in order to benefit from their protection in case of problems.
I wanted to order 24v trapano 60nm from Greenworks IT website without creating an account. I filled my credit card and address details. The recipient name and credit card owner were different. I think because of that reason, the order failed somehow. But, the credit card is still charged. Right now, the company kind of stole 74.99 Euros from us and we don't have any successful order number. For Italy, there is no phone number to contact. The only way to contact them is to fill out a form. I completed the form 3 times so far, and after 10 days, there is still no response. How is this possible? I cannot believe that such a thing happened on a supposedly reliable website. I presume that they will eventually hear my voice but it is a very bad sign that such a thing can happen for a company. We were quite satisfied with them, they are not professional quality level but are enough for us. As we had the batteries already, we thought we could buy the drill from Greenworks too. And, it went extremely disappointing. Previously, we bought the tools from Ebay not from their own website. So, stay away from their own website until they bring updates and improvements.Update: They contacted me after 2 weeks to resolve the issue. Strangely, I have been already refunded my payment, I don't know when/how it happened, it was not the case a week ago. I will make a new order now, it is at least not too bad that they contact back, and they try to solve the issue, but they need to provide more prompt responses and better customer services. My initial review for Greenworks would have been 5 stars, with this incidence it went down to 1, but now I can increase it back to 3 or 4 stars. If they can improve their customer service, it would be 5 stars, and I am satisfied with the products themselves.
I purchased a Greenworks riding mower, expecting a high-quality, reliable product. Instead, I received a mower with multiple defects and have encountered nothing but frustration when dealing with Greenworks customer service.Shortly after purchasing, I noticed several serious issues:Defective electronics, including a faulty operator hours timer that tracks usage even when the mower is not in operation and is simply charging.Uneven cutting performance, with severe scalping and inconsistent mowing results.Missing frame bolts upon delivery, which is a major safety and durability concern.Excessive play in the steering, making the mower difficult to control and reducing precision.I immediately contacted Greenworks, assuming they would stand behind their product and either repair, replace, or refund the mower under [warranty or customer guarantee]. However, instead of addressing these significant defects, they have delayed, ignored, and outright refused to provide a resolution. Despite numerous calls and emails, their customer service has been unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility.This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. A company selling premium-priced equipment should be held accountable for quality control issues, but Greenworks has failed on every level. I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider before purchasing a Greenworks mower. If they resolve this issue, I am open to updating my review, but as of now, I cannot recommend this company."
Generally a Great product but when needed to reach out for help found the real problem was horrible customer service and an inability to speak with anyone in management, ugh! Ultimately returned the product to Costco where they have Excellent Customer Service (Greenworks take note!).
My advice - DO NOT BUY GREENWORKS products - pure crap - bought 60v battery operated snowblower which works for only 5 uses before it stopped functioning. Took it to the recommended repair shop who told me it couldn't be fixed. Greenworks did send a replacement snowblower (give them credit for that). The replacement worked for 5 uses and now doesn't. Greenworks said it is out of warranty and they can't do anything for me.
Been waiting for my order 11 days and counting. After two days saying I would get it that day now they simply say they don’t know when it will be delivered. I needed this and can’t process a return because they have not delivered. Would never order from them directly.
We purchased the Greenworks tire inflator model #GWA3132770. After only a few months the hoses started leaking air. This was purchased on Amazon. We called the company, Greenworks to see if there was a warrantee. After being on the phone for ONE HOUR we finally had to hang up. They actually wanted a VIDEO of the machine malfunctioning. Terrible customer service. Would never buy their products again.
