If it breaks, you will not be able to get parts

My 60V green works pro mower hit a rock and broke one of the four gears that drive the two blades. Should be simple to just order the gear and change it out. After 20 minutes with customer service, the rep said he "does not have a part number and cannot help." So I now have an unrepairable $600 mower. Greenworks will not support its products. Last product I will buy.

Good luck if you need warranty replacemenst!

I delt with the customer service people on 4 different calls. All just trying to get a battery charger replaced which was (and still is) under warranty. The charger was included with a mower I purchased last year FROM the GREENWORKS website. They couldn't find my purchase in their system???? So, I was told to provide serial numbers and model numbers for every item included with the mower. (mower, 2 batteries, 1 charger) I happen to be legally-blind so I asked a couple of my friends to help me get the numbers. We were able to get all thenumbers needed EXCEPT the serial number from the mower???? No where to be found! I asked the last customer service rep to send me an email with a pic or detailed instructions where the SN is on the mower. Apparently, they don't know where it is either!!!!! I have received no replacement for my charger and forced to purchase a charger to continue using my mower.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware: Greenworks charges a $20 return fee, even on a $19.99 item.We ordered a simple replacement part and tried to return it unopened. Greenworks wanted more than the cost of the item just to send it back. There was no clear mention of this in their return policy, and customer service made it clear they wouldn’t budge.We’ve purchased their products before, but this experience was a dealbreaker. We’ll be buying elsewhere from now on.

Battery is dead after 20 minutes of use

Battery is dead after 20 minutes of useThe saw cuts good for the 20 Minutes it runs on a full battery, then you have to wait 60+ minutes for it to recharge Battery gets very hot and will not charge until it cools off Can these batteries explode form heat ? I would not recommend this saw if you have to use for more then 25 minutes of work with it.

Customer support is a joke

I bought a lawn mower Nov 2023. Now the battery cannot be charged. I called the support. After waiting for 10 minutes, I was sent to the callback queue. I waited another hour. Someone from Greenworks called me back with just one ring and hang up. I called the support again. This time I picked the option to stay online instead of the callback queue. Guess what - the "continåue to wait" option disconnected my call. The support system seems designed to not support customers.

Order UK11845 - Avoid at all costs

Order UK11845 - Placed 18th July for hedge trimmer and saw at +£230. Nothing has arrived, unable to contact anyone at greenworks as they have no e-mail or phone number, i've filled in their online contact form 4 times and still no reply. They have taken my money though. The online order shows item is on its way, yet tracking number now showing did not say which courier they use or how to track. I put the number in all the different couriers myself and then found they used DPD and unbelievably their website says item delivered 22nd July but not to my address (which i provided when ordered). Apparently they delivered it to number 9 (i live at number 32). I asked at number 9 and they have received nothing. I called DPD and they said only the seller can raise a complaint and resolve, only Green works have no e-mail or phone number for me to call them! I've again sent all this information via the online contact form, still no replies so basically i have no product and cannot get the item or my money back as Greenworks have no customer service or support. Unbelievably poor service, i'm now seeking legal advice, you have been warned, do not buy anything as no way to either get item or refund that you are owed.

Terrible, terrible terrible

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Customer Service keeps you on the line for a half hour directing you to an automated service which does not help you. Finally, when they get on the line they offer no assistance. I had a 48 V piece of equipment that needed a new battery and they do not make the 48 V battery any longer. They offer no refund no rebate zero stay away from this company and products.

Wish I'd read reviews before I'd ordered from them. Taken money on 7/7/25 with 2-4 day delivery. No sign of delivery as of 17/7/25. No tracking details. Contacted them via website - No reply. I'm wondering are they scammers? Certainly fraudulent breach of contract. Police Contacted.
