Surprised are still in business...

Surprised are still in business...Then again, they are experts at stealing money from customers!If you are a landlord, tenant or homeowner - don't do business with this company.My landlord worked with this company. At the end of his contract with them he decided to part ways due to the poor service received. As a result of this, they are now illegally withholding my deposit (apparently due to a fee dispute between the landlord and Spicerhaart). Nothing to do with me as a tenant, paid my rent in full every month, landlord has asked them to release my deposit and they simply refuse.Go and check out my review on Google (Felicity J Lord - Brixton) which includes images.

Property visit

Property visit -Ida was great when she visited the property. She was helpful with some things we were struggling with in the house. She was gentle with her explanation which seems nice. But we would appreciate urgent response to all the repairs which were noted by Ida noting that most of these repairs has been there since the beginning of our tenancy. Haart is doing well but they can do better in the services provided like 1)Give reports to Tenant as well after property visits. 2)Key handing over should be with an agent at the property so that if there is any issues it will be raised immediately.3) Ensure repairs are done after viewing before Tenants moves in.Thank you.

Poor Service

I am a landlord and have used Haarts for over 15 years. I would never use them again. They have changed their terms, staff have been rude both to my tenant and myself. They have very little for their fees. my tenant and I feel very let down by them

Dear Lillie May & HaartOn March 28th, I came for a viewing at the property on Winson Street. After the viewing, I expressed my interest in the property, and you asked me to make a holding deposit of £219.23 on the same day. I made this payment on Thursday.We began the referencing process on Monday, and our planned moving date was set for March 11th. The referencing concluded on March 8th. However, when I inquired about the moving process, you mentioned that your company and the landlord were facing issues regarding one or two matters, which you did not disclose to us. You assured me that you would keep us updated since we were okay with waiting for you and the landlord to reach a resolution.As the moving date passed and there was no further communication, you informed me around the 15th that you could no longer hold on to our money and would process our refund. Since then, I have been trying to reach you for updates, but there has been back and forth with no actual refund issued and no responses from you or your team regarding this matter.I am writing to formally request my refund. If I do not receive it promptly, I will have to consider making a report to my bank for fraud.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your swift response.

Haart has been misusing my personal…

Haart has been misusing my personal data since 2021, when I was renting through them. Despite multiple complaints and a written assurance from their Data Protection Officer in February 2025 as well as their CEO Antony Lark that my number would be removed, they are still making unauthorised sales calls. I’ve now escalated the matter to the ICO for investigation. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour.
