A Let-Down After Initial PromiseI used this agency to let out multiple properties over a two-year period, and unfortunately, the experience declined to the point where I had no choice but to move on.For a company of this size, the lack of structure is unacceptable. Properties in Bedford are managed by teams based in Milton Keynes or Northampton, meaning you rarely speak to the same person twice — a fragmented and inefficient system that causes more problems than it solves.Even more disappointing is the fact that basic tasks included in their full management service were consistently difficult to get actioned. Requests were often treated as though they were favours, not contractual obligations.Initial onboarding was smooth, but once they secured my business, the standard of service dropped significantly. Professionalism, accountability, and consistency were lacking throughout — all critical qualities in a property management company, and all noticeably absent here.

The Walthamstow Haart letting office is a…

The walthamstow Haart office is a complete joke and unprofessionali was meant to have a viewing at a property for saturday 12th July for 3:45pm. On the way there(10 mins away) i receive a call from the agent Izel, to inform me that the landlord had to cancel due to them not being there, which is v unprofessional leaving it to last minute, so i had to reschedule for this Tuesday for 3:45pm againTo make things worse, not only did the Agent or Landlord not turn up but when i attempted to contact them to the office and agent, i either not no response or they hung up on me after 4 rings!It was v unprofessional and frustrating to have my time wasted and id never want to do any Lettings with this company again for this kind of treatment

Landlords: Think twice before using Haart Estate Agency – poor service and misleading review practicesMy experience with Haart Romford as a landlord has been extremely disappointing and unnecessarily stressful.Haart placed tenants in my property who did not meet the required financial checks, which ultimately led to significant rent arrears and property damage. I had to escalate the matter through their formal complaints process, and while I eventually accepted a resolution offer, it was far below the actual losses I incurred. I accepted it only to prioritise my health and bring the matter to an end.Throughout the tenancy, Haart failed to carry out even a single property visit, despite their contract offering a free inspection — and later ignoring my offer to pay for one. I was paying for full management, but the assigned property manager was part-time, and over 18 months, I was handed off to five different managers due to frequent staff turnover. This resulted in a complete lack of continuity or accountability.Despite paying for landlord insurance, including rent protection, I received no meaningful support while the tenants fell over four months into arrears. Haart blamed internal issues with their insurance provider, and in the end, I recovered only around 70% of the rent owed — and only after filing a formal complaint.Be aware of their review strategy: shortly after signing the agreement, I was asked to leave a Google review — before even receiving the first rent payment. Since Google only allows one review per account, this effectively prevents landlords from leaving an honest review later, once the full experience has unfolded. In my opinion, this practice is misleading and unfair.While the case is now closed, based on my experience, I would not recommend Haart to other landlords.

First time working with Haart

First time working with Haart. Every time I call there is no one to answer the call. Even my tenant said the same thing. Calls are being forwarded to another branch where no one knows anything about the property in question. A promise of call back but no one ever calls you back. Rent is in delay, maintenance issues not being communicated despite repeated request on update. Account gets charged before bills are raised. Finally I have taken over the maintenance. All I want now is rent to be collected and delivered to me, seems too much of an ask. Still going back and forth. Can someone from the top of the ladder in Haart please look into this?
