Pestering and Inexperience

We went on the market with Yopa earlier this year. Haart staff then rang me weekly asking me to ring them - but, they never said they were with Haart - it was just can you ring so and so on several different Lincoln numbers. I eventually got through to someone and very firmly told them to stop ringing me as we were happy with Yopa. Shortly after, I viewed a property that was on with Haart. A young woman showed me round. The bungalow was old and needed a complete refurbishment. The main bedroom’s floor was uneven in one corner and the girl said, ‘Oh, I’ve had a look and I don’t think it’s subsidence!’ That was a really stupid thing to say to a customer and highlighted her inexperience and lack of training. We did not buy the bungalow!!

This has been the worst rental…

This has been the worst rental experience of our lives. We rented a property through Haart, and from day one, it has been a nightmare. The house was handed over to us in an absolutely filthy condition — with a dirty garden, stained bedroom carpet, and visible mold and damp throughout the property. The walls in the living and dining rooms are so damp that they leave residue on your skin and clothes when touched. The smell from the damp has made the rooms practically uninhabitable. Before moving in, we raised several issues, and both Steve and Viviana assured us they had been taken care of. These promises turned out to be false. Not only were the original problems ignored, but we discovered new issues after moving in.It’s been nearly two months since our tenancy began, and the only thing that has been fixed is the taps — nothing else. We’re now living here with our one-month-old baby, and the ongoing health and safety risks are unacceptable. The situation is causing significant mental stress for our family. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this through Kieran, all we hear is that the landlord has been informed, with no real action taken. We expected a safe and decent home, especially with a newborn, and Haart has completely failed us. Our child deserves better — and so does any tenant.

Steer clear of Haart Medway

I would not recommend using Haart as an estate agent based on our experience. Communication was consistently poor — calls were rarely answered, and it became apparent that our numbers had been saved and ignored, as the only way to reach them was by calling from a different phone. We were misled about the number of viewings arranged, which we were able to verify through our own CCTV footage. Upon terminating our contract with immediate effect, we received a list of over 40 individuals who had expressed interest in the property, despite only five viewings being conducted during our time with Haart. We ultimately sold the property privately. Interestingly, our buyers had also been dealing with Haart for seven months, trying to purchase a different property, but had made no progress. In our opinion, the service was deeply disappointing, and we would strongly advise others to consider alternative agents before committing their time and money!

Never again.

Never again.Hard to contact, nearly a year with them and nothing but problems. The only way to contact is by paying the rent late so they ont the phone straigth away. Two different people was dealing with the issues at the property and now its nearly a year with a single visit.Mathew took a pics of every problem in the property and said that will be in touch next day.Contacted them few week after(fed up waiting) just to hear thats Mathew can not find his own report.3 weeks later now and still nothing happened.Property covered with mould from the leaking roof, walls driping water out after a rain.Nobody interested till we r late with rent, and we doing that on purpose just to get somebody from that "great" agency to contact us.

Sam was extremely helpful and let my home within a few weeks. The pictures she took were great and the price the house was let for was higher than other competitors . She has been easy to contact and she has been happy to give advice and support when needed. Would recommend the company as this was a relatively simple and stress free journey .

I sold a property

I sold a property. Lesley McGuigan was my contact who was very proactive at finalising the sale along with other colleagues, Nathan Binfield. I was kept informed at every stage.Fees are not competitive

The viewing process was very smooth and stress-free. Larissa Goodchild showed good professionalism and mannerism. She was already at the property waiting. She guided me with the information and details needed as compared to my previous experiences with other negotiators.. I was impressed
