Review Time
I have been harassed by this company over 20 times in a week chasing me to sell my property with them. At no time did I ask them to contact me nor did I give them my contact details. They admitted that my details had been sold to them. This is disgusting and I would never use this company. Please be aware that this is how they conduct themselves. AVOID THIS COMPANY
As a buyer, they could not have made it any more difficult to view, discuss and purchase the property and made it extremely painful causing us to nearly lose the purchase multiple times. We decided to just go around and speak to seller direct as communicating through Hart was shocking.Even from step one the initial viewing, we booked 3 times with them cancelling each time, one was the day of the viewing. to rebook was near impossible, i called them so many times to attempt to book just an initial viewing and it never happened, they just didnt return calls or cared, we were very set on the house which is what kept us determined but if this was anywhere else we wouldnt have bothered to keep dealing with them.Throughout the purchase, they did not update the seller at all, turned up late to viewings and we could never get ahold of them when important legal steps and questions were needed.
Haart mistakenly requested two identical payments from my account when it should have only been one which left the one payment pending in my account, when requested to cancel the request so that the funds could be released from pending, Haart were confused on how to cancel their request, however they did say eventually the request had been cancelled but on contacting my bank they said they’ve request was still pending. The issue still hasn’t been resolved and the funds are still pending whilst Haart are ignoring my emails and calls.
The management of our end of tenancy has been atrocious. They are unresponsive and causing us unnecessary stress during the process of completing the tenancy and check out. Two months and mind numbing amounts of time being spent using FlatFair and the issues are still not resolved.
Bit of a joke outfit as far as I can see. My house is for sale as can be seen by the sale board when I had an urgent message on a copliments slip from Haart to contact them as they have a buyer for my home. I was to contact them on a number that they forgot to enter and was 'signed' by Sharon Maynard a senior partner at Haarts of Liskeard. No contcat details for the office which is not suprising as they do not have one even though they say they do, and Sharon Maynard appears to be a ficticious name which is ununusal for an estate agent. Would not touch this group with the proverbial bargepole,
Ellie was an excellent agent for assisting us in finding a suitable tenant. I'd asked her for feedback to help us get a quick and reliable let and Ellie was.able.to.give inciteful advice on compromise we could make whilst giving positive reassurance about our efforts to prepare the property for new tenants.
Called the Coventry branch to arrange for someone to look at my dads house as he was thinking of selling or letting it , advised that he was not 100% sure but wanted some figures to help make up his mind . The day of the viewing I received a confirmation call from haart I confirmed that my dad was expecting them but that he would not be signing up that day as he would be also getting another agent to value the house, the person I was speaking to said a online valuation ( similar property prices in the area ) would be easier, this isn’t something that was wanted ,as better if the agent looks at the house in person , agreed to keep to the original appointment , no body showed up . I have now arranged for Bairstow Eves to come out Monday morning to give an in person appraisal.
