Roger Jackson from the Burton Upon Trent branch came around to give us a valuation of our house. From the off he knew we were unsure of whether we are going to sell but I found his visit very helpful and he gave us lots of useful advice re the process of moving and what needed done on our house,
Disgusting experience with the so-called property manager. They took advantage of my landlord’s lack of knowledge and advised him to issue a notice to leave—simply because I didn’t want to sign yet another contract. I’ve already signed six! At this point, it should just roll into a periodic tenancy, which is completely legal and standard. Instead, they tried to charge the landlord for creating a new contract.Rather than addressing the actual issues in the flat, the property manager chose to threaten me with eviction—a move that would likely end up in court. Absolutely terrible and unprofessional behavior.
Do not use APL Lawyers which is the company whom Haart estate agents recommend ...I’m currently in the middle of a property sale and purchase using APL Lawyers, and the experience so far has been incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, I now feel stuck with them, as switching solicitors mid-way would only cause more delays — otherwise, I would have changed firms long ago.Communication has been a major issue from the start. Phone calls go unanswered, voicemails are ignored, and emails take up to a week or more to get a response — if I get one at all. This is completely unacceptable when dealing with something as time-sensitive and stressful as buying and selling property.To make matters worse, I’ve been passed around between multiple solicitors with no consistency or accountability. It’s clear that there’s a serious lack of organisation and urgency. Every time I finally hear back, I’m left feeling like I’m starting from scratch.At this stage, all I want is to complete and move on — but based on how things have gone so far, I wouldn’t recommend APL Solicitors to anyone. If you’re looking for clear communication, timely responses, and a smooth process, I suggest looking elsewhere.
I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with Haart lettings, particularly with my assigned property manager, Malwina. Communication has been consistently poor, emails and calls go unanswered for days, sometimes weeks, making it nearly impossible to resolve even basic issues in a timely manner.More seriously, I was subjected to an illegal rent increase that violated the terms of my tenancy agreement and current housing regulations. When I raised concerns, they were either dismissed or ignored entirely.No one should have to tolerate this kind of behavior, it’s unprofessional, unacceptable, and deeply concerning.I would strongly caution anyone considering this agency to think twice. Tenants deserve to be treated fairly, respectfully, and within the bounds of the law , none of which I experienced here, all thanks to Malwina.If there was a ZERO star, I would gladly give it.
Marie smith Norton I am suggesting that you stop sending me your un solicited junk mail in the post addressed to just my property. So what if you want to sell it and or have some one to buy it . I COULDN’T GIVE A STUFF . I am not selling and if I was you would be last on my list. I’m the only one in a road of 8 properties who got your un solicited junk mail which you have broken my zero tolerance policy with your unsolicited “ crap”. . Yes you know exactly where you can stick it. Any more lands at my address I can assure you that you will be more than reported and matters taken further. This company do the dirty on every one. I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
Lynna is a massive problem. She is malicious and petty, if she does not like you as a client she will go out of her way to make your life difficult. Employees leave because of her toxic behavior. Clients complain about being left on read for weeks, or not getting clear responses back that lead to more questions. This has been my experience with her also for nearly 11 months straight. I have to make a formal complaint to her line manager just to get her to do something. Avoid her at all costs your mental health and stress levels will be better for it I promise you.
The most frustrating house selling experience of our lives. Communication with the agents was awful, they forwarded private emails to our sellers regularly making the relationship between us strained, they ordered the release of keys to our property before the funds for the sale had even arrived in our account on completion day. As vendors we feel we did most of the leg work accelerating the sale so we were loathed to have to pay for the ‘service’ at the end. Avoid at all costs if you value your sanity.
Extremely Disappointed , Avoid This AgencyMy experience with Haart Agency Properties in Norwich has been a nightmare. Over three years, they placed tenants who caused vandalism, and their commitment to managing the property has been shockingly poor. Communication is chaotic every time a new agent takes over, I have to start from scratch. Promises are made but never kept. They’re quick to charge fees but offer no real service in return. I’ve been waiting over four months for compensation they said they'd recover, with zero proactive updates. Nice on the phone, but totally ineffective. I would strongly advise others to avoid them.
I had a wonderful experience with Celso while showing me the properties.He was very professional,friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire time and he also took the time to understand all my needs towards what I was looking for in a home.The communication was great,he was always on top getting back to me while the application processing was going on.Thank Celso for all your assistance and I wish you all the best with Haat.
