The most (HIDEOUS!!) Expirence EVER ! With this company don't waste your time Not only do you get put through to a call centre who manages all calls on behalf of haart ,but asking the call handler to pass on your messages to the relevant team member is like getting blood out of a stone. The unprofessional attitude with them getting back to you is literally beyond a joke if you have experienced this you will understand the total frustration and lack of respect in returning your calls one woman to say this most applies to is a miss T Davis Negotiator!!!!!!!! would you believe. I got so frustrated with her lack of communication skills via phoning, I threatened to leave a review after weeks of asking for a call to not only discuss a rental for myself but my parents wanting to seel there 3 bedroom apartment in queen's park I was told I'd have a call of course, no call from Miss T so I'm leaving the review if you can't communication with with members of the public get out of the job role your in

Annabel has patiently worked attending to all my requests for information regarding the HMO property Haart manages for me. She always replies promptly and will endeavour to deal with any problems which arise or she knows who within her team she can inform to ensure I am as fully supported as possible, with our joint management of my HMO.

The sterotype of a bad estate agent

When you think of a stereotypical estate agent, like you see on the recent panorama, then Haart is precisely what comes to mind. We invited three estate agents to come and quote for us in May 2025. We went with Haart because we were hard sold on their success – they were the most expensive with 1.35%+VAT, and they quoted us £10K higher than any other estate agent, with stats such as 22 Days to offers, and 104% of the advertised price. The red flags we should have noticed were the hard-selling tactics – the fee went down from 1.5% to 1.35% as a special offer just for us. We were naïve to the common tactic of estimating high to secure our business, and hence why Haart valued us £10K higher than anyone else, and we were flattered that our house could do so well. We were also shown videos about digital marketing FLINK, which would help use social media to find buyers. We were also told six pre-approved buyers were looking for a house like ours and would be in for viewings as soon as we signed up and marketed. We started to have sign-up remorse the minute the photos were taken – the agent came around and took them on their iPhone, which was older than mine. The advert then went live, missing a room they thought wasn’t nice enough (a storeroom), and with the Wrong EPC. Two weeks on, none of the pre-approved buyers materialised, so we reduced the price by £10K to match the value offered by other cheaper agents. Only one viewing came through, and they ghosted the agent with no feedback. We requested metrics and data on the advertising's progress, but received only sporadic graphs from Rightmove. These graphs indicated that the initial momentum of the launch had been lost due to being valued too high. We reduced the amount again by a further £5K, but still saw no results. We learnt that their 104% statistic is based on the price advertised when STC on Rightmove and not their valuation price. For example, if the property was originally listed for £200K but reduced to £180K and STC for £185K, it would still be considered over 100% even though it is £15K less than the original valuation. I even had to retake some of the photos and insist that the storeroom be shown. We asked for evidence of FLINK being used on our property, and it was never provided. In the end, we removed our property from the market and will have it off until we are out of contract with Haart and their adverts are forgotten. When we did this, they sent us a letter telling us that they had introduced 12 people to our house, and if we sold it to them, we would owe them a fee. Note that this is bad practice, and the Property Ombudsman Code section 18J makes it clear that introductions are only really evidenced by viewings. We had to pick up the keys, and when we did, they were handed over to us with no ID, Key log or any other security being taken – we hadn’t met anyone in the office that day and could have been anyone – all we had to do is give our address and say we’d come for the key. Learn from our mistake and don’t have your home move plans delayed and derailed by Haart.

never get back to you

never get back to you. we wanted to view at least 3 properties with them. 1 was for my partner to buy and one for myself, the third one was a investment to rent. If you want to move to clacton, try sheens or leaders, they are great. Unfortunately they did not have the properties we were interested in, but luckily, we have found properties in sussex and are happy with are move

Absolutely outstanding service from…

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish. We initially met a lovely lady, Jazz from haart estate agent at the first viewing of the property. She was extremely polite, professional and offered great support throughout the sale of the property. Along with colleague Lauren, both went the extra yard with chasing solicitors and helping to bring this sale to a speedy completion .We felt that we were in safe, experienced hands throughout the whole process.

This estate agent should be shut down

This estate agent should be shut down. After finding a tenant who stopped paying the rent I'm going to have to take him through court proceedings to get him evicted. The lettings manager Chloe Milton is an absolute disgrace and the organisation should be ashamed to have such an incompetent person working for them. Once I've dealt with the tenant I'll deal with the estate agent.

What began as a promising partnership…

What began as a promising partnership with Haart as my selling agent in Lincoln swiftly became a source of significant frustration. Simple communication proved surprisingly difficult. I routinely had to initiate contact to get feedback after viewings, and was often unaware of cancelled appointments. One notable incident involved a Haart sales team member leaving muddy footprints on my carpet. Despite an apology and a promise from the office manager to arrange cleaning, this promise was never kept, and I had to bear the cost and effort of cleaning them myself. My follow-up emails on the matter were completely ignored. It became clear that the Lincoln team struggled with basic seller communication. This consistent inefficiency ultimately led me to change estate agents, and I'm pleased to say my house is now sold. The depth of their internal communication problems was underscored when, a fortnight after I'd already ended my contract, Haart actually sent me a letter claiming they had a buyer, and a subsequent conversation with their valuation team revealed they had no knowledge I'd even been a client and they didn’t even have an interested party.

The Worst Estate Agent I’ve Ever Dealt With

Wish I could give zero stars. I have been reporting multiple repairs for over 4 months, and not only have they not been resolved, but the agents do not answer their phones or respond to emails. Haart (Nottingham) is by far one of the worst estate agent branches I have dealt with.

The worst experience we've ever had with an estate agent.

I wasn't going to write a review for this company as I didn't want depress myself by going over old ground, but I feel I must. I feel I must express how from the outset myself and my family were treated abysmally by this company, for one whole year. When we were first shown around the property we rented with Haart, we experienced the first signs that this company wasn't as professional as we were used to. (We have a lot of experience when it comes to rental estate agents) We were told that another family were due any moment (obviously to put pressure on us) because they never turned up, and the rental agent didn't offer to show us around the property, just stayed on her phone in the front room, asking every five minutes if we had made a decision. This made us feel pressured, and it was unprofessional. On applying for the property it caused a huge month of stress as we experienced a lack of communication from Haart. They have a phone line, plenty of staff, but they never answer the phone, and they rarely answer emails, unless they want money off you for the property. We were told the property would be cleaned before our moving in date, but this wasn't done, despite six weeks to do it. The carpets were covered in stains, the fridge had food and what only could be described as bodily hair stuck in it. We had to get the oven professionally cleaned as it was shockingly bad. Again, we emailed Haart, but we had no reply about this, when actually, we should have been reimbursed.Within a week of moving in to our rented property, things took a swift nosedive, and it never stopped until we were free of the place. We had major structural issues, leaks, infestation of pests, mould, rising damp, health and safety issues, and despite us sending probably close to 200 photos and reports/emails/phonecalls, we were largely ignored. I was told on the phone by a female member of staff at the Haart office that I should probably find somewhere else to live and what I was asking for to be done to the property was ridiculous. So, asking for a safe and clean house for myself and my husband and children is ridiculous? This company side with the Landlords, which was obvious from the beginning. My husband paid close to £400 in repairs over the course of the year which was never reimbursed by the company despite all of those maintenance works not being his responsibility, even including a major leak in the bathroom. (Please note, we had a non flushing toilet for six months in which Charlotte told my husband to use a bucket to flush it) and a non working bathroom basin for 8 months. Again, no communication was shown by Haart. One of the bedrooms had a slow leak through the roof which ran down the walls, causing major damp and mould. We informed the company, sending lots of photos, and despite this being a job that should be completed quite quickly, it never was. My husband even phoned to get a quote from a roofing company and was going to pay for it himself. We told Lesley at Haart about this, and she immediately sided with the Landlord. It clearly shows to tenants that despite being in a 'Fully managed property' Haart are only interested in liaising with you if you need to pay them money, or hand back the keys.We had to resort to getting the council involved before our rental was up, and the report was shocking. They found more issues than we were aware of. We would never go with this company again, they are unprofessional, have a lack of care and empathy and they helped on giving us one of the worst years of our lives to date.
