Fantastic

Absolute fantastic service from Peter Moorhouse at this BMW dealership, we travelled 3hrs to collect our year old BMW 230i which was presented like new. No hassle just great friendly and professional service! 10/10 Thank you.

Don’t buy a car from this garage

Don’t buy a car from this garage . Recently paid £50k for a used vehicle only to find it was supplied with a faulty tyre . AA repair was shocked when discovered my blown tyre already had fault chalk marks on it . Poor customer help from Halliwell who have ignored this problem and say it was fine when they sold it , an obvious lie . Could have been a serious incident . Still waiting to hear from BMW UK . Avoid at all costs

I am a pensioner with a 10 year old BMW…

I am a pensioner with a 10 year old BMW and just rang about a problem with my car. The lady was lovely but when she told me that charges for just labour were £180.00 an hour I was amazed. That’s nearly £1,500.00 a day or £7,500.00 a week??? How is this ever justifiable? Plumber has just been to my house, qualified for 40 yrs and charges £35,00 an hour!!

Went there to view a bmw 1 Series

Went there to view a bmw 1 Series. Me and a salesman agreed on a price that included extra warranty, paint protection and ceramic coating on the car. Manager came at me then and said 'NO', Then said another price with everything included. I agreed and proceeded with the paperwork. When i received the paperwork, It came to 21567 instead of the 18750 me and the salesman agreed with eachother. Manager tried to blag his way through excuses and say I had to pay for the 'optional extras' of the warranty etc. Very pushy manager, Poor customer service. Tried telling me 'we have other enquiries about the car'...If that's the case, why didnt the car sell before I put a £500 refundable deposit on it?...Extremely poor service..Wanted £20k for a 19plate m140i with 62k on the clock which was whining in reverse and curbed alloy wheels. I told the manager it would be cheaper for me to get a small loan from my bank branch to buy it outright. Manager then was extremely nosy and wanted to know how much would I pay back for the loan etc. Right be11end of a guy. Manager said he cant 'knock a penny off the car' because that was the 'market value of the car' - Market value for something that age with milage is around £15000-£16000. Worst car dealer manager in the whole of North Wales. Travelled 2 hours there, Made me wait 4 hours to try and close the deal. One person says one thing, another person says another. Would definately recommend anyone to avoid these bunch of cowboys. 2@s.

Totally unsatisfactory

Having had an urgent safety recall on my BMW, I made eight phone calls with no success. Every time, I was assured that someone would ring me back. Noone did. I have spent four hours waiting. Apologies each time. Oh, the manager's line is busy, I shall escalate this. Nothing. I have wasted a whole morning. Dreadful experience from a main dealer. Not happy.

Having bought a John Cooper Works…

Having bought a John Cooper Works Countryman some 6 months ago from Halliwell Jones Mini I was so impressed with the car and the service from this company that I decided to buy my wife a Mini.I would say that my experience was exceptional, Ì feel that it is important to mention Tait Black the Sales executive whom I dealt with, he was both courteous and knowledgeable and not pushy .Simply whilst my wife chose the colour I was ALLOWED to chose the specification and packages. Tait guided me through all the various levels of packages etc.Having taken delivery today I am over the moon with the car .I again thank the team at Halliwell Jones Mini in particular Tait Black and his boss Rob ( whom I had to arm wrestle for a discount ) for their excellent service and attention. I feel I should add that being long in the tooth having bought probably more than 30 new cars that I w ould say that my experience was exceptional and I thoroughly recommend Halliwell Jones Mini

DISGRACEFUL CROOKS!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service from the team at halliwell Chester BMW. Serviced my 2020 530d in 2022, service not uploaded to the system and I’ve been awaiting a call back for 2 weeks with false promises been made by the service manager that someone will call back and this is an issue they would sort ‘over air’ since I am 80 miles away, and the service would show in my car. But guess what?? they’ve gone quite. No call backs and everyone seems to be busy whenever I call to get this issue resolved. Supposed to be professionally but they are incompetent crooks who take your money and then avoid contact when they have made an error. I would not recommend at all. Stay well away.

Would not recommend

I have to say the very poor reviews appear valid having recently had my own bad experience. I used to work for Halliwell Jones many years ago, hence me returning as a customer with my own vehicle. I will unfortunately have to return for one more visit as I have a service plan in place, but after that I will take my business elsewhere. Poor service, terrible communication from some (not all) members of staff; sort it out Halliwell Jones? Do these negative reviews not tell you something is very very wrong and needs rectifying?
