I have never been looked after so attentively as my recent BMW 7-Series service with Halliwell Jones Chester.Particular thanks to Kevin Boswell (Customer Support) who was exceptional in solving unusual circumstance problems so efficiently and sympathetically.Frankly, I will always try my utmost to purchase my cars and have them supported by Halliwell Jones Chester and I highly recommend them.
I went into register my interest with a sales advisor in hopes of buying my second vehicle from HJ Chester. This was October 2019. I never once heard anything from them since this date. Even today, now in November 2020. I even rang my allocated sales advisor to find out what they would give me for my current car at the time- she said she would ring me back which she did not. I understand that there’s a global pandemic but to not even receive a phone call to tell me like ‘hey there’s something here similar to your description’ or ‘I think you might like this’ is awful when I’m wanting to give them my money. I didn’t, I bought a bmw elsewhere instead. Sad really as I do like to use main dealers but I just have lost faith in their sales advisors attitudes. Totally neglected a customer.
Placed order and paid deposit for new car. Subsequently told I couldn’t get that one due to new model coming out. Fine so place order for new model wouldn’t negotiate on price. Between original quote they removed service pack which I didn’t pick up at the time. It went in for first rapid 2 hr service (no courtesy cars!) to find out the service pack I asked for had been removed they wouldn’t add it. £750 for first service and 5 hour wait.
Great team who work along to help me .Mr Nick Hankey ,mr Phill Evans mr Simon Bellis ,mr Kevin Green ,mr Kevin Bobbette , Richard , the rest of the staff who I didn’t meet but worked along to fully satisfy us , did everything to high standard .Massive Thank you ! Be back again 😀
Awful customer experience. Visited this evening straight from work to take part in their 48 test drive and they demanded I leave I car AND the keys. The reason? In case my alarm goes off!! It hasn’t gone off in the 3 years I’ve owned it. And in the unlikely event of it going off I would have driven there to turn it off 🙄 There’s no way I’d have left my keys with them. My advice? Don’t bother travelling out of your way to see them because their service is abysmal. 😡
Bought a New X6 for my wife for christmas had it 2 day and the sunroof started creaking took it back to halliwell jones chester they told us it was a factory fault we got it back and it still had the same fault rang and emailed halliwell jones with no response so with the car being less than 30 days old we said that under the 2015 sales of good act we were rejecting the car and wanted a full refund all we got back from BMW is that they have 8 Weeks to look into it We are now taking them to court We have always had Land Rover and wanted a change so went for the New X6 THIS IS THE FIRST NEW BMW WE HAVE BOUGHT AND WILL BE THE LAST STAY CLEAR OF HALLIWELL JONES CHESTER
FORCED by Halliwell Jones (Chester) to pay Halliwell Jones for a mistake made by Halliwell Jones. Never using Halliwell Jones again; proven incompetence, time and time again. Foolishly gave them a second chance years after vowing not to go there again. Was told that I might as well have an oil service even though the car had recently had one, because oil servicing is part of the car service pack and would not be charged. So I agreed to this based on Halliwell Jones’ recommendation, even though I would not have had this done if I knew they were going to go back on their word and charge me an extortionate fee for unnecessary work. Went to pick car up and it was suddenly chargeable. This is despite me being introduced to the service pack when I booked over the phone via Halliwell Jones head office and then checking in person when I took the car in. So the ‘free’ oil service was confirmed independently by TWO people and then turned out not to be true. The car had recently (within last six months) had an oil service elsewhere, so was not in need of one. If I had known that I would be charged, I would absolutely not have agreed to Halliwell Jones’ suggestion of a ‘free’ oil service today. Absolutely garbage service. I have to say, I really do not care about whether the car is washed, whether I am offered tea or coffee or any of the other frilly bits around the edges; the main point of business should be quality work on the car and competence in the workforce when it comes to service plans, record keeping, invoicing and most importantly accurate communication with customers. They would not budge; refused to remove the charge for the unnecessary oil service that they recommend I have “seeing as it is covered by the service plan”. Please work on the competency of your workforce, on the core part of the work (i.e. servicing and book/record keeping and clear communication with customers). Only then should you work on the bright lights and silly sofa garbage around the edges.
Bought a BMW 125i, salesman was extremely helpful. Couldn't do enough for me (to get my money out of my pocket).....then I had a number of issues with the car and I had to get BMW emergency assist to come to have a look at the car and they said it needs fixing asap, still took me almost 2 months to get Halliwell jones to act upon it to rectify the issues. I lodged a complaint with Head office and still not heard anything. Seems like once they have your money, you don't matter.
