Review Time
I sent them a bag to sell, their policy states when your item is sold there is a 10 working day cooling of period before they contact to get your bank details from you. A month went by after it was sold and I did not hear nothing from them, so I contacted them and they said they had sent an email. They asked bank details which I gave straight away after receiving the link and was told it could take up to 30 days for payment.
Surprised, surprised. That time has passed and I still haven't received my money, thieves. Do not sell your items via this website, untrustworthy.

This company has demonstrated a clear incompetence when it comes to recognising vintage bags from the 1990s, a time when serial numbers were not yet standard practice. They carefully reviewed the photos of my three bags and read the full description, which explicitly mentioned this detail, yet they still proceeded to make me an offer, and encouraged me to ship my goods. After I shipped the bags, I was informed that they could not authenticate them and am now being asked to pay £40 + £14.95 PER BAG, for a total of £164.85 to have them returned — purely because of their inability to properly assess vintage items. If they do not accept 1990s bags without serial numbers, why did they make an offer? Why did they show interest and encouraged me to proceed with the shipping? The photos and the detailed description I provided, accurately represent in good faith exactly what they received. Why should I be charged, since I did not provide any false information? Where is my fault? It feels as though the decision to reject them have been made from the beginning, in order to charge me this ridiculous greedy fee, just to get my own bags back!My aunt was a collector of Gucci, and I inherited several of these bags from her. Thankfully, I only sent them three. If they are unable to do their job, it's their responsibility, not mine. They should declare themselves unable to authenticate, say sorry, and return the bags to me, or allow free pick up. This does not end here for sure. And I strongly advise others to avoid them at all cost, and consider alternative platforms such as Vestiaire Collective, Hardly Ever Worn It (HEWI), Depop, or Vinted , way more honest and with a clearer policy.
I would also give Zero stars if i could. I sent off a Gucci bag which i had bought with the Handbag clinic for them to re sell - they massively under valued it so i decided to have it returned. I then didn't hear anything - I then receive a flippant email to say it had been sold in their Selfridges store and that they were "sorry" absolutely appalling service - i have since spent all day trying to get hold of them to work out a solution. I am Furious and actually feel really cheated and upset.
Would give zero starts if it was possible . This company finally got in touch and sent me a link to pay to get my bag returned . I immediately paid and was advised I would receive word in 72 hours . Its now over a week with no confirmation of receipt of money or more importantly a tracking number or the bag itself .The service from this company is zero and I would avoid at all costs. This is a update after receiving your reply which is incorrect . Your information states that I should have been notified of receipt of funds - This was not done .It also advises I was to be advised when it was dispatched so to ensure someone was home to receive the item due to the fact it needed a signature . That was also not done ! which resulted in the courier trying to deliver it to a empty house as I was unaware it was on its way having received no communication from yourselves at all .Your reply is simply blaming the courier when indeed its your process that is to blame and not the courier service . This once again proves that instead of accepting responsibility you just shift the blame . I do indeed have the bag back which means thankfully my dealings are now well and truly over
The repair to the heel of my beautiful shoe was very good. It took a while, and communication was a bit lax. However, after quite a few weeks before the repair, they contacted me to say the original method of repair wouldn’t be able to be done due to the design of the shoe. I had to ask if there was an alternative method. Which there was, and I am thrilled with the result. These were expensive shoes I had only worn once and had scraped the heel stepping down a vent and I can now wear them again! The courier took 3 attempts to get them back to me so maybe The Handbag Clinic should look at an alternative courier! DXExpress told a few porkies regarding their delivery attempts!! All sorted in the end but I had to contact DX myself… who were helpful to be fair. I would use the Handbag Clinic again, but leave plenty of time as they don’t rush! Ultimately they did a really fab job of the repair.
