I never thought I had a need for AI transcription as I can type adequately during consults. However after trialling it during 1 busy GP clinic day I am sold! It has revolutionised my workflow, and improved my patient interactions by eliminating the need for me to be typing during a consult. I am less fatigued at the end of the day using Heidi. The accuracy and functionality is amazing. It will enable me to see more patients, with better quality clinical notes.
I like Heidi for keeping a comprehensive record of the consultation. Not a huge fan of the letter writing/summary feature as it adds medical recommendations that were not part of the consult and tends to mash the recommendations together rather than laying them out in a clear fashion that the patient can follow.
Thank goodness there is a software product that works!!!I am a Wound Care Nurse. I have been struggling with charting for my entire career (that's 33 yrs!!). Even dictating onto my word doc on my phone was challenging. The edits were even longer. I was introduced to Heidi health by a colleague. She swore that it would help me. She knew of my pain with charting. My student nudged me all weekend as she was being my scribe. She showed me that it was not difficult. I was tight for time this past week as needed to get this Initial Wound Evaluation done. I did not have time to write out the eval and edit it my traditional way. I pulled up the site, signed up for Heidi. I dictated my visit. I stopped the recording to check what the program was writing. I resumed the dictation. I changed the type of document I needed. Although I still needed to edit the content, it was far better than anything I would have come up with. I am now a believer!!! I will finally be able to submit my superbills to Medicare in much better timing and my life just became a bit less stressful. Thank you to the creator of this amazing transcription program. You have given a gift to those with "Charting" as their Achilles Heel.
I have been looking for a program just like this and am so happy that I found Heidi. It's a free program but you can upgrade to more features if you like and it saves me a ton of time and mental energy in writing notes after my therapy sessions. I am telling my colleagues to try this for themselves! I love that it's free and it's accurate. There are some mild mistakes that I correct before pasting into my notes but it's OK. It still saves me from having to type while I'm in session with the patient.
