Non existent customer service department

I ordered two items, one was correct and the other came wrong. I am being asked to pay another £5 for the return, nobody answers the phone when I try to call, my emails to their “customer service” don’t get delivered for some reason. This is the worst experience I have ever had, I wish I hadn’t bought anything from them to begin with. I would not recommend, such a disappointing experience. Order number HOF0000088000664

Refused a refund for an item I…

Refused a refund for an item I returned. No reason given. I know the item is was returned the same as it was received (including damaged packaging) as it was never tried on! I will never buy from this company again as they can’t be trusted.

Beware!

I have just placed an order with house of Fraser and applied a 10% discount code from discounts for teachers. The price was reduced from £70 to £63 and I continued to checkout. To my surprise on checkout the discount code was removed and I was charged full price!I contacted house of Fraser and explained what had happened to be told that once an item has been checked out they can not add or refund any discount codes! Anyone using a discount code please be very careful when checking out!

Never purchase from House of Fraser

Never purchase from House of Fraser. The company is extremely dishonest and will abuse your consumer rights. I purchased Saint Laurent glasses for over £200 which was delivered to me in an extremely poor condition. There was no label/tag attached to the glasses to prove they were brand new and the glasses came with no box along with a Saint Laurent glasses-case I have never seen before. I chose to return the glasses TWO days after receiving them due to the poor condition they were delivered to me in. I even emailed customer service on the day of receiving the item to notify them about the poor state of packaging and was advised to pay £5 out of my pocket for a return. I then found out two weeks later after following up myself, that they rejected my return as the sunglasses were “worn”. I responded highlighting I returned the glasses in the exact condition they came to me and they were not delivered with a label or sticker attached. The label sent with the glasses is also in poor condition and looks extremely old. I have been denied my refund on a false accusation and they have also stopped communicating with me via email. I feel so exploited by House of Fraser and I am so disgusted that they have refused my return based on the same reason I raised a complaint when the glasses arrived. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. Never buy from here, go anywhere else but House of Fraser.

Appalling service from what was once a…

Appalling service from what was once a highly reputable store. I have shopped at House of Fraser for many years but this could be the last time. Trying to return an item. Return system doesn't work. No one answers the phone (any phone) no one responds to emails... Then I expect they will say I have exceeded the return window. Unacceptable. I will be taking further action if this is not resolved very soon.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company £5 for delivery even tho the order was £200, one off the items I ordered size xl when it arrived I have never seen a xl that size… more like xxl so had to be returned where once again £5 for the pleasure of them sending the wrong item.Gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed another order to the value of £100 yes again £5 delivery charge, now this order had the same item has I had previously ordered but in 2 more different sizes has we wanted the item so I took it on board that I would have to pay the £5 return fee now trying to get the item returned is a absolute joke!! Website keeps coming with with error I DID GIVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT BUT TRUST ME I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN JOKE

Censorship and missing items.

Firstly I purchased a pair of £800 Balenciaga's I was asked to give a review for which I gave: only for my review not to be submitted? All I said was "brilliant fashion statement" and that I loved the design of this footwear. However, I also said they was extremely uncomfortable. It seems my review was monetized in order to only accept a complete positive review? Very misleading and manipulative. And lastly, I brought a pair of CP company shorts that arrived missing the CP badge logo that it's known for (the big black round button)? That's like buying Giorgio Armani with the eagle badge missing or Gucci without the double G. There is no way to personally phone anybody from customer service so as a customer you don't feel valued.

Appalling service. No order details email and no communication either. Half of my order is missing and I can't get any sense or replies. There is absolutely nowhere to turn with this one. I am now forced to go to my paypal account in the hope that they will help me.APPALLING SERVICE. HALF OF MY ORDER IS MISSING AND THEY WON'T REPLY TO ANY OF MY MESSAGES. DISGUSTING.This it the second time I have been stung by this company; it certainly will not happen again.

don’t want returns

House of Fraser don’t want you to return your purchase never sent me an email with my order number with order and you need that number to send back any unwanted items customer service is non existent there is a bot you can communicate with but not very helpful extremely difficult to navigate to get to talk to an actual person finally got my order number to put in the return portal and that didn’t work to person told me that they would send me a new email with the order number and i never received that either I managed to send off the order in the end, but I can honestly say that I will never buy from Fraser online again and would not recommend them to anyone.
