HILO said I should get my money refund from Google play store. But they have no record of HILO membership payment. The payment on my card lists Google Mountain View. And when I contacted them they said to go to Google Play. Round and round they go, where they stop nobody knows.
The hardware is good, the band is comfortable, and the syncing and calibration straightforward and intuitive. However, without a paid subscription, the blood pressure readings will only be synced to Apple Health once a month, and the information displayed in the app is very limited.
The item came wore it for a week before encountering issues, then the issues persisted - trouble shoot on the app and online, Hilo were no help - the customer chat is email based and response rate is very slow - reached out to Hilo asked for money back and was told that i would need to return items within 14 days which i did and have been chasing them for a refund but now not receiving a response from them - they have my £189.99 - DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SUPPLIER/BRAND TOTAL FAILURE
I recently bought a Hilo band from eBay, and needed some help from Hilo to get the band and cuff set up for me. Their customer service is excellent in terms of response time and they are very thorough. My band and cuff are now working well.
The device arrived and didn't work. I contacted support and they provided nothing useful. Basically didn't respond for days at a time and I have had to complain on Facebook and demand my consumer rights to get any kind of response, none of which have actually been helpful or useful. They still haven't arranged a replacement or a refund and I am still sitting in limbo weeks later.
The band is lightweight and waterproof. It is synched with a cuff periodically to ensure accurate readings. Both the band and the supplied cuff synch effortlessly via bluetooth to the app. The app has very informative and easy to read data. It is illuminating to see intraday trends in the readings.I have checked readings from time to time with a traditional bp cuff device and they match.
