Their courier was incapable of…

Their courier was incapable of delivering tge product and Hilo won't pay to have the option of collecting from a Dropbox or shop. I contacted them and they couldn't be less interested. Barred the whole experience. Product seems OK.

Due to a bug in the new app I had…

Due to a bug in the new app I had problems in that I couldn’t access the app. Using emails the issue was resolved, I found this a very effective method of communicating and the issue was resolved.Excellent personal service which I was very satisfied with.

If it's too good to be true maybe it's not true

If it's too good to be true, maybe it's not true.I really put a lot of hope in this device, given the claims and the studies, but unfortunately it just does not work on my body.Yesterday I had a hypertension crisis, with the BP jumping to 180/110, but according to Hilo Band, my pressure during the entire period was around 135/90.I was connected to a reliable hospital device, which was just confirming my condition, so I take those measurements as good.Same happened in the opposite direction: BP lowered due to a new medication. and Hilo Band just kept giving me random higher values.I chatted with the support (calling is not an option), but our conversation ends aways with a useless "try to recalibrate multiple times" [UPDATE]: Hilo support took the matter very seriously, they got in contact with me and analysed the data. According to them, this was a miscalibration due to the fact that I calibrated twice in a short timeframe (10 mins). I still believe that a medical device should avoid this kind of miscalibration which a user can do very easily, and the app should guide the users better during this process.But I must admit that Hilo took my issue very seriously, and this is very important

Thank you to the support team. I can't give a 5 star review because Hilo has a problem - if you try to reply to the support team your email is rejected. When the support team didn't get responses to their questions they fixed it anyway. Thank you!

No Customer Service Available

Nothing recorded, did everything it said, app installed, followed every instruction in the little booklet (the type used is so small that you can hardly read it by the way), but when trying to get the first days results and I tried to check bluetooth , it just kept saying no app was found, even though it is listed on my bluetooth connections. There is no one to talk to, the 'contact us' link does not work, so I am returning this. HUGELY disappointed! Customer service is important to me, VERY important. Oh - I could have telephoned Switzerland. Really? I cannot believe you cannot talk or email a human being. It is a con from start to finish and very distressing. I feel like I have been scammed. I will have to try to contact my bank for help. All I needed was contact to say I could 'do this or that' to resolve the issue. It may have been a 5☆ review then.

I have had some problems.

I have had some problems.First the arm unit for testing my blood pressure is giving different readings to my separate BP machine (my machine agrees with my Doctor measurements). It tests higher, by around 10 units.Then I had very low blood pressure causing me issues, dizzy and fainting, which were not picked up by the wrist unit.So I wish I hadn't bought the hilo. Waste of money.

Readings completely changed after 9 months

I used the band for 9 months without an issue and then all of a sudden after a calibration my average readings jumped up by a huge amount. I went back and forth with their support team for months (usually taking over a week for them reply) and all I got told was calibrate it over and over again, eventually the readings dropped from the raised levels but still not in the range they were for 9 months and still incorrect when compared with other blood pressure monitors. I this point I was told it was within tolerance and that was that. Now had to finally stop wearing knowing the data is wrong and completely unreliable, very disappointing experience and I'd strongly recommend you don't bother with one of these devices if you care about actually having correct readings
