Dawn was so helpful with our recent trip to Costa Rica. She listened to our requirements, was patient when we wanted changes and asked questions and came up with a trip that was amazing from start to finish. The local support in Costa Rica was superb everyone we met wanted to make our visit the best it could possibly be from drivers, to tour guides and the hotels we stayed with. They kept us informed and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Holiday Architects and also a trip to Costa Rica a beautiful holiday destination.
We have recently returned from a fantastic holiday to Japan which was organised by the lovely Emma at Holiday Architects. Emma was incredibly helpful (and patient!) with us as we discussed and planned what we wanted from this holiday. She then took care of all the logistics and made it a trip for us all to remember. Her suggestions as to what we should do and where to go were so helpful and made the trip very special. I would thoroughly recommend Emma and Holiday Architects.

My teenager and I had an absolutely wonderful time. From the preliminary discussions about what our requirements were to the final organisation, everything was perfect. The itinerary covered so much but also gave us time to relax. The local guides and drivers were very good too. Highly recommend this company and would happily use again.
Well, what can we say! We have just had the best holiday ever all thanks to the fantastic Helen and team at HA. My husband and I have wanted to visit Canada since we met 35 years ago! We would have realised this dream 5 years ago had it not been for Covid but the extra wait was so worth it. We were slightly challenging for Helen as my husband particularly wanted to see Niagra and me the Rockies - only 4,210km apart! But nothing is too much of a challenge for HA and before we knew it Helen had the perfect itinerary planned to encompass our dreams and so much more. 3 flights, 8 hotels, a few local trains/buses and a car for the 1,000 mile drive from Vancouver to Calgary were all booked and made for the perfect adventure. Helen listened to everything we asked for and made sure that we got just that. Her suggestions for our free days were perfect and the excursions she organised were all amazing. It truly was a perfect holiday and knowing we had the support from HA if we needed it was really reassuring for two new international travellers. We can’t recommend HA enough. Their own passion for travel shines through when they are organising your holiday which makes for the very best experience. Thank you Helen and all the team at HA.
We used Holiday Architects to tailor a two-week trip to Borneo that fulfilled our requirements to see as much of the wildlife as we possibly could in the timescale. Our itinerary included 4 very different destinations and the whole experience exceeded our expectations! If you want to de-risk your holiday then Holiday Architects is a great option. This is a very belated review, but only because we’ve been wanting to do it justice. Life has been busy since we got back, but in the interest of leaving feedback in as timely a fashion as we now can, here it is for anyone considering a trip organised by Erin at Holiday Architects.Simply put, our holiday to Borneo was incredible. The wildlife was next level, the boutique hotels and eco-tourism ethos were excellent, and the whole trip had that perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and luxury. We did spend a lot — Borneo isn’t a cheap destination — but it was worth every penny, and it felt like we truly got what we paid for. From the jungle to the beaches, river tours, a night with the Iban tribe, and multiple centres linked by internal flights, we were able to experience so much more than if we’d just stayed in one place.The guides we had were fantastic — Jennifer and Amir in particular, who accompanied us to the Iban tribe, made the whole experience feel like travelling with friends. Authentic, stress-free, and full of laughter.What set this holiday apart, though, was Erin. Yes, Holiday Architects are a premium brand, and we did pay more than for other quotes, but Erin’s local knowledge and attention to detail more than justified the extra cost. Having been to Borneo herself, she knew the hotels, the best tours, and the hidden gems.Most importantly, she genuinely cares. One evening we had a disappointing experience with a non-English-speaking guide, despite the tour being advertised otherwise. We emailed Erin late that night, not expecting much at such short notice. By morning, she had arranged a replacement guide who was excellent, turned the experience around completely, and even organised a full refund for the first tour — unprompted, out of principle. That level of professionalism and client care is rare, and it gave us complete peace of mind throughout.We cannot recommend Erin or Holiday Architects highly enough. If you want a seamless, expertly curated, and unforgettable trip, you’ll be in safe hands.
Our trip to Japan was perfectly organised. Everything worked a treat – the wonderful guides, the hotel and train bookings, the general advice and tips. Fenton responded to all our requests, made suggestions of his own and tailored the holiday just as we wanted it. It was the right balance of pre-planning and freedom to explore as the mood took us.
