Do NOT order from home bargains online.Ordered over 3 weeks ago. Evri confirmed the parcel is lost, home bargains wont offer a refund.

Bad customer service

My Partner brought an item from Home Bargains in Branksome Poole, When she opened the package at home and tried to use it , it was faulty , so the next day she took it back. The lady at the shop said there will be no refund on that item. So she asked to speak with the manager, and when he arrived he also said it will not be refunded or exchanged . The manager then said it was discounted because it was faulty. ( There was nothing written in the package to say it was faulty ) And why would you buy a faulty item anyway. I’m sure the policy in which the manager states is wrong so we will be speaking to citizens advice and contacted the trading standards with this issue. I feel she was treated badly with this issue and I wouldn’t want anyone else to receive this treatment.

Derby store need better customer care

Derby store is OK for goods and prices but half the staff are not helpful. Trolleys for shelf filling everywhere, 4 in a row with one lady slowly putting one item at a time on shelf. Why bring 4 trolleys out the back. Disabled, pushchairs and trolleys can't get past. Then when they're asked to move, they look discussed.

Awful customer service - no contacts

Awful customer service from which doesn’t exist by the way.Ordered a table on their website which was delivered damaged. Tried to email to return no reply, chased 3 times nothing. Went to store and after a lot of hassle got a refund of item but not postage as only online team can do that… anyway thought ok I will order a replacement. Replacement arrives same problem so emailed again…Nothing. So looks like back to store for a refund which they won’t want to do and also I will then be £8 down on postage costs that they need to refund.Do not waste your money here for Christmas !

Lost parcel for £100+. AI generated response. No refund

I placed order on 23th of November for £100+. Parcels collected by Ervi stuck somewhere. I received "Home bargains" AI generated email, apologising for EVRI delivery problems, but I still don't receive parcels and no response from EVRI. No money back, no presents, no proper customer service. Do NOT buy online.

Order placed

Order placed. Waited days for dispatch. When they did the cancelled my Christmas lights saying they was not in stock yet still selling them on the website. 8 days later my parcel arrived and they sent me wrong items and terrible customer service. Absolutely useless service

Shocking Customer Service

I ordered 12× 500g boxes of Pedigree Mini Markies dog biscuits. I have ordered the same amount several times before, with no issues. Cost including delivery £20.63 . Small parcel arrived yesterday 6/12/25. Contents of the parcel 1×500g of Pedigree Markies. I emailed them and they are saying all 12 boxes were delivered. So I've got a single 500g box of dog biscuits and I've paid over £20 for them. Single box instore costs £1.39. I only buy them in bulk online as they're not always in stock in store. Customer service is appalling. They can't be contacted by phone, only email.
