I ordered online and only recieved 1/7 items, they stated it may arrive seperately but when i reached out to question where the rest of the order is their response was for me to double check my house for the package...now theyve been ignoring me and i feel completely scammed

🚫Don't order online🚫

My items arrived all smashed up.Home bargains doesn't have a call centre. And getting through to soemone has been impossible. I have 3 x boxes taking up room, no return label and when I finally got an email back home bargains offered a partial refund of £25 for my £45 items.No return label, no full refund and an hour drive to a store🚫AVOID BUYING ANYTHING BREAKABLE 🚫

Experience from your Exmouth store

I would like to personally say thank you to Ben from your Exmouth branch. He is a fantastic asset to Home Bargains and nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond with assisting with some products I’ve been after for my children and I would like him to know he’s made my little human’s day. It’s such an exciting and busy time of year and I don’t expect much as I know businesses can be more busier than usual but the services exceeded my expectations and he really deserves some recognition. It’s been a great experience from start to finish and I am very thankful I got to deal with Ben personally. Thank you so much once again Ben and thank you Home Bargains. P.s give the guy a pay rise! ;)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good store and helpful staff, but one issueOverall, Home Bargains at the Leeds Merrion Centre is a great store — good range of products at excellent prices. The majority of the staff are bright, friendly, and helpful, especially first thing in the morning when the store opens at 7am.However, there’s one concern I’ve noticed on a few Monday mornings. The girl on the till seems very disengaged — barely scanning items, not speaking, and appearing half-asleep. Unless there’s a genuine medical reason, I think the manager should have a quiet word, as this kind of customer service doesn’t reflect the otherwise high standards of the store.

Worst online experience possible

I placed an online order, to have someone else’s order delivered to me. It’s virtually impossible to contact home bargains to resolve an issue, the only option is to email them! So I did, 6 days later I get a reply from a customer service agent, their solution was to arrange a collection of the parcel and then process a refund, once the parcel was received. I agreed and selected the earliest of the days given to me (the next day), only for the agent to respond to me the following day stating that it wasn’t possible to arrange that collection date and asked me to choose another day. I responded expressing that the situation was frustrating and it’s unfair to expect me to have the time and ability to sit around waiting for emails and couriers, based on an error on the companies part. It’s now been 4 days since I last heard from the advisor that was “helping” me, I’m 2 weeks in to being stuck with a parcel I have no use for and out of pocket for the order that I paid for. If you want half decent service, I highly recommend avoiding ordering from home bargains online!

Won’t shop with you again

Went online and bought some stuff, got the parcel, box totally in tact, but inside two boxes of silver tin foil were wet and falling apart, contacted customers service and was told I have to return them, I said why should I inconvenience myself when the box was in tact and you knowingly put in these items that were damaged… No response!!!! Won’t shop with them again. They maybe be cheap but that does not mean I should be sent shoddy goods and then at my expense return the items

BEWARE!!

I would urge anyone buying online to be mindful that if there are any issues ( Evri lost my parcel) then there is no call centre and no chat facilities, the only course of contact is via email and I’m nearly 2 weeks in with no replies to about 6 or 7 emails. I’m now in the process of having to go through my bank (cost of parcel was around £150) to recoup my money!

Avoid ordering online

Ordered online for the first time recently. About a 1/3 of the products arrived damaged. No reasonable solution offered by the company and they are now ignoring my emails. Disappointing.
