Love Home Bargains as a store to visit but their online service is absolutely appalling😞I ordered 2 toy items on 27/11/25 paid received email confirmation also received an email saying they were dispatched to Evri from 2/12/25 they have been out for delivery after many emails to Evri I was informed the parcel had gone missing and to contact HB for a refund.Each time I have Emailed HB I get an automated email saying “your parcel’s been dispatched and Evri have it 😡Eventually after 6 Emails trying to get them to understand Evri have lost it HB now tell me they can’t trace my order or confirmation that I paid or ordered for the items because my email doesn’t exist for any order even with me including the order number 🤬🤬🤬🤬What the email we are currently corresponding with that includes all the screenshots of my original order/payment confirmation/dispatched items ??!!!!I now have no items,no refund and no help from Home Bargains because you cannot talk to anyone, lesson learnt I will never order anything again from HB online 😞
Still waiting for delivery of giant 1.2 meter bear nutcracker been over 10 working days now !just emailed homebargains online support they just keep replying that my email can’t be recognised.Not a very good experience so far with them online.
Goods not received, shocking customer service, got nowhere with Customer Service, what customer service….there is none!! I’m 25.00 pound out of pocket and missing two items which I ordered for Christmas gifts. It’s fraud stealing money from the public and getting away with it!! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM HOME BARGAINS
My daughter reached up on a high shelf to get something down and accidentally dropped some bottles of moisturiser on the floor. As my daughter began picking things up the female staff member shouted at her "Just leave it" so I replied and said "There is no need to speak to me like that" she replied All I said was leave it. I replied yes,you did but in an awful tone! There is no need to speak to people like that! She then told me to fk off and I replied the same back. I then reported her to management! They knew who I was talking about before describing her as this is not the first time she has been rude to a customer.
The products in HOME BARGAINS aka TJM LTD are awful nowadays - below substandard - ANOTHER FINE EXAMPLE OF THE MEGA WEALTHY ROBBING THE POOR & they are, GREEDY billionaires! And they tell constant lies in their deceitful packaging - I bought a load of their THICK BLEACH (reported to Trading Standards & Citizens Advice) WENT TO USE IT, THINKING IT WOULD EXIT THE BOTTLE SLOWLY - but it shot out without any effort - RUNNY AS WATER & GETTING THINNER BY THE GREED OF THE OWNERS!!!?The bleach was like water. It splashed everywhere ruining carpets, rugs, a sheepskin jacket & all the new wall decor has white dots on it - I'm suing you for deformation of description - if you can change the bleach in form & quality..then you can also of change the labelling that states it to be THICK BLEACH!!When it certainly is not!Sad people stealing from its loyal customers all the time & most of the stuff they sell is actually cheaper in the bigger supermarkets - Don't Be FOOLED BY THEIR ONCE GOOD OLD REPUTATION - nowadays they'll look you in the eye & rob you at the same time - daylight robbery!
My Partner brought an item from Home Bargains in Branksome Poole, When she opened the package at home and tried to use it , it was faulty , so the next day she took it back. The lady at the shop said there will be no refund on that item. So she asked to speak with the manager, and when he arrived he also said it will not be refunded or exchanged . The manager then said it was discounted because it was faulty. ( There was nothing written in the package to say it was faulty ) And why would you buy a faulty item anyway. I’m sure the policy in which the manager states is wrong so we will be speaking to citizens advice and contacted the trading standards with this issue. I feel she was treated badly with this issue and I wouldn’t want anyone else to receive this treatment.
I have to say after placing an online delivery and reading some of the reviews about bad online ordering experiences I was quite worried, but I have received all of my items which were well packaged and in perfect condition so thank you home bargains! I’m very happy with my online experience and would definitely do an order for delivery again! :)
