Agree with all reviews. Total scam! Paid £85 plus vat and was informed that this cost included labour and only parts would be additional fees. Plumber arrived did a great job however he requested money yet no parts were required. You are basically paying £100 admin fee for them to contact a local pumber! Shocking!
This is a scam operation. Do not use them! I have asked my credit card company to reimburse my money as despite numerous attempts to get in touch with this company to resolve the fact that NO ONE EVER TURNED UP despite me paying £90 for being introduced to an engineer. The engineer sent me a couple of texts with lame excuses for not turning up but I've heard nothing from him or this company since. They just take your money and provide zero service. THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION! 02/12/
 Do not use. I was with my vulnerable father and he had the lights and the power go off, so I phoned for an emergency electrician.  Initially they were really helpful and they said yes certainly there would be an engineer sent out by 12 o’clock. All I had to do was pay £100 and they would send the engineer out I paid this and then immediately afterwards I got a text saying that this was nonrefundable. I was slightly concerned but still wasn’t too bothered as I thought at least the engineer will be out by 12 o’clock. Shortly before 12 I had a phone call to say the engineer had broken down in his van and they would no longer be able to get them there by 12. I asked for one with the nearest engineer be there and they said they don’t know I asked for immediate return of the money and they declined and they refused and they said that they would provide an engineer but it would be within two weeks. I said this is unacceptable but they have still not provided any of the cash reimbursement. This is total abuse and exploitation and I’m really concerned about my father and anyone else who comes across as website do not use at all.
Absolute scam I was called by them to do a job for a vulnerable lady with a disability and her disabled son she was completely confused by the process which is understandable as I was when they explained to me how I had to charge her a further £65 which is what I charge when they had already taken £90 pounds off her what a joke they need to be Iocked up the lot of them how is this allowed I am shocked 😳 do not use and report them
I booked a service and paid £180 was not explained terms and conditions and that the fees were non refundable and just before 3 minutes to when the engineer was promised was told he can not come due to personal reasons and when I called the following morning was told they provided a service and can not refund my money and that they can share the engineer details after my fridge being fixed by another genuine company who fixed the same day!Total scam company please avoid contacting them!
AVOID AVOID AVOID this company deserves 0 StarsThey give themselves 5 stars on their own website but the reality is very different.Moving into a new home is stressful enough but to discover that we had no working central heating or hot water and it was -2 inside and outside we were desperate to find a heating engineer. After calling a few of them to no avail I found this website, they were very helpful and after a few moments informed me that they had a heating engineer who would be able to come out before 5pm that day, they sent me a text with his contact details and I immediately called him to get an approx time, he informed me that he did not agree to come out that day and had infact told them there was zero chance of him getting out for at least 4-5 days, this was not what Home Services & Repairs had promised if they had told me that to begin with I would have continued my search instead I paid them £118.80 for a service that they could not fulfill and refused to reimburse me.I later found out that they are simply a call centre and when anyone enquires they have a bank of experienced tradesmen they call on to carry out the repairs, they do not employ them, simply pass on details of the work needing done and you then pay the tradesmen - if they come out that is. This would not have been an issue since we were so desperate to get a heating engineer by that stage I would have happily paid them as well but to pay Home Services & Repairs for something that they could not and would not be able to do was in my opinion fraudulent.We did eventually get someone to come out the same day, but feel very unhappy that this company is taking money from people promising a service that they simply cannot supply.
