This company pry on OAPs with their "OAP discount available" on their awfully made website.They claim to have 5 STARS, but this is also a lie- you cannot click the link to see these reviews... but just look below to see the truth!They claim they will send you a plumber (or builder or whatever craft you are after) on the very same day- but this is a lie.They took my aunt's bank details to pay for the plumber, but soon sent her a text to say "your non-refundable booking fee has been charged".This was never discussed on the phone.She realised as soon as this text came she had been scammed. Needless to say a plumber did not turn up.We are now going through the bank to get a chargeback for no services rendered - it does not matter that it sayd "non-refundable", they did not provide the service.
IT IS A SCAM ! DO NOT USE THEM ! REPORT THEM Agree with all reviews, just a scam, they (Jack) lied to us, they threaten us, they harassed us, they charged us 106.92 pounds for no services. They just called a plumber, who did not find our address the first time and charged 50 pounds just to install a washing machine, and could not take the old one back, as agreed, in fact the plumber arrived in a Mercedes cabriolet, not the van than you can see on their website ...
Part of our roof on an outhouse blew off on high winds. Contacted this company and payed £90 for an alleged booking with a local tradesmen. First one apparently broke down and couldn't make the visit. I then received a text to say another tradesmen would me out today. Suprise surprise he couldn't find our property. Absolute scam of a company. I have now started a chargeback on my debit card against this scam of a company. Please please do not make the same mistakes that I and it seems plenty of others have and avoid this company at all costs.
SCAMMERS - DO NOT USE! We paid £90 to this company to arrange for a carpenter to work on a particular day. We were told he would arrive same day, and he didn't show up. The company then failed to pick up the phone. Disputed payment with credit card, as service paid for never materialised.
Complete scam. This company take your money and then forward your details on to a second party who never turns up. They refuse to refund you and will not talk to you if you complain, they either hang up the phone or put you on hold and leave you there until you go away. Horrible people, scum of humanity, no better than common criminals. They basically stole/defrauded me of £118.18 to provide a service that they had no intention of providing. How people like this sleep at night I will never know. Currently seeking reimbursement through my credit card company. THIS IS A GENUINE EXPERIENCE OF THESE PEOPLE, I HAVE IN NO WAY BEEN HIRED TO WRITE THIS FABULOUS REVIEW.
SCAMMERSAvoid like the plague! As all other reviews have stated they take your money and they promise to get you an engineer out! When you chase them they make all sorts of 💩 excuses up and basically you end up with no service at all. Report them to trading standards if you get a chance to
Need a chimney sweep, go elsewhere. They are the most underhanded business I've ever had the misfortune to have called. Ashford is a long way for a disabled veteran from Liverpool. But I will see Ian John Hawkes in person. And tell him face to face about his corrupt service. 🙄
