Well, what can I say??I received my beautifully packaged tin of Hotel Chocolat chocolate shortbread buscuits. The tin itself looks so exquisite and the shortbread covered in chocolate is absolutely delicious!I like that each buscuit is individually wrapped with all the ingredients listed and there is good variety and choice as three different types of buscuit is included in this collection.It would make a lovely gift for someone, but as the buscuits are so very tasty, they are a gift for ME!!The delivery was fantastic, arriving before the predicted day/time, so I was able to enjoy my shortbread earlier than I had expected!Thank you Hotel Chocolat for such a lovely treat!
Lovely as usual, ordered Advent Calendar for Two (saves arguments - about who's day it is!) alongside a box of luxury Turkish Delight saved ready for Christmas and the Hot Chocolate Salted Caramel sachets. Getting ready early - to avoid disappointments. Items very well packed too.
The request to review the taste experience is always premature but it's virtually a given, for those of us who have been buying Hotel Chocolat for many years, that the chocolates will be superb.However, we have had varying experiences with deliveries and today's was the worst yet. The package was left outside our garden gate, out of sight of the house in weather that has been, at best, mixed, with very high winds and occasional squally rain. It was only found because my wife had an appointment and saw it when she left the house. We have lived here for over twenty years and no one previously has ever left a parcel so far from the front door and exposed to the elements.
Have just visited the Harrogate Hotel Chocolat store for a coffee. Served immediately by very pleasant helpful staff. Received a perfect decaf cappuccino and the chocolate sprinkles are a nice touch. Was greeted as I entered the store and also wished a nice day as I left. Nice experience to start the day. Will visit again!
