I have only used Hotel tonite once for a room on NYE and this weekend in Miami I searched the site and the next day realized I was charged a $350 hotel fee for a hotel I didn't book. When I called they stated 8f approved I would only get credit to use on their site . I did not save my credit card and asked that my account be cancelled. The supervisor was unwilling to credit my money or provide credit. I also called the actual hotel and they were nice but couldn't assist since it was done by 3rd party . I have disputed this with my bank. I would advise being extremely careful when using this site and understand what they are willing to do customer service wise. I was not happy to get this random charge for a hotel I didn't even consider booking . Hope this helps someone else out.
It took customer service four days before they could give me an answer to my claim. I accidentally chose the wrong day and immediately called to change it. Within those four days I spoke to three different people and waited for email responses. No credit nor refund and they waited until the reservation was over to notify me of this. They essentially took my money and I didn't receive a service. Please do not use this app.
They are a disaster, and have terrible customer service. Besides the hidden fees, they do not vouch for their customer after a bad experience. Instead they say it's not their fault, and avoid calling us back. They are argumentative, and do not care one but about their customers experience. Avoid at all costs
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!I booked a room for a work function and the next day, it was cancelled. I went to cancel my reservation, 3 days before the time that I reserved and was told it is NON REFUNDABLE!!!! It does not tell you it's non refundable while you a reading the initial information and booking. Customer service says when you trace the Hotel symbol you are agreeing that is is non refundable!I will be disputing this change with my credit card company -- DO NOT BOOK with this company! Not user friendly at all!
I was charged by the hotel and Hotel Tonight the last 2 reservations I made at different hotels. I only realized when I checked my credit card statement. It has been a hassle to get refunded which I haven't been yet. I was informed from one hotel they did not get the payment from Hotel Tonight which is why they charged me. Seems like this is an ongoing issue.
Poor customer service, I contacted them right after I had purchased a night and tried to cancel. Their answer was sorry. My father in law passed away and I couldn’t use the hotel. I only asked them to credit the night for a future stay and they said sorry. I’m out 240.00 dollars that my credit card paid for it. The worse business , don’t use them.
