I couldn't find a link to contact customer service anywhere on their site! The negative reviews here are unfortunately justified. I wanted to reach out to customer service, but couldn't, so I hope sharing this helps others. I was shocked to see that prices on another platform were actually better, including all taxes and fees, with no surprises at check-in or check-out. I hope next time they offer better prices.
I booked a hotel after the original system was down. I arrived at a hotel only to find they had no record of my reservation and that the service is a third-party vendor. I decided to leave and go to a friend's house instead. Now, I’m trying to cancel my booking, but they refuse to give me a refund and want proof that I tried to check in. This company is a scam; don't book with them.
I arrived at a hotel where I felt completely unsafe as a solo female traveler. I called to express my concerns about the unsavory individuals loitering outside. I used to rely on this service frequently, but now, I’m reconsidering my choices. I just needed a refund for this booking to rebook elsewhere, but they did not address my concerns. I am extremely dissatisfied.
I searched for a hotel near the airport and received a suggestion an hour away. The airport shuttles don’t even go there, so I would have lost all the savings made with their 'good deal' using an Uber or taxi, which they won’t reimburse.
Terrible experience. We booked 2 rooms for 2 parties and when we arrived the hotel said one room had been cancelled by “customer service” and we needed to go through the 3rd party (Hotel Tonight) we spent over 2 hours on the phone with no resolution. We finally gave up ended up with half our party 45 minutes away after a concert. The next day we called and explained the hassle and they would only reimburse for the one room we never got and they gave us a 10% coupon to use in the future. They told us it was a $100 coupon but it was up to 10% up to$100 and No thank you, will never use them again. If you do, I would call the hotel before check in to ensure you have it reserved.
Sheela at hotel tonight customer service is an absolute GEM booked a non transferable room for the wrong night and she fixed it for me in minutes. A mistake on my end I figured I would not be reimbursed for but she took amazing care of us.
My wife booked a room through HotelTonight. When we got to the hotel she booked, they told us we booked for the following weekend, not the next 2 nights. This was admittedly my wife's error, but the booking was still a full week out. So we called HotelTonight and explained our situation. We drove 6 hours to visit family in follow up to my Dad's recent death. HotelTonight customer service was couteous and said they would work to try and get our dates changed or some sort of credit. I said, thanks we're in the lobby, and will await your call. 2 hours later, still no call back. I called again and got a different person and explained we were awaiting a call back. She checked with the first guy we talked to and apologized that he got busy and hadn't called back, but said he was told by management there was nothing they could do! So I'm out $312!! I went online the next week and found an executive manager on LinkedIn and sent him an email explaining the issue and asked for intervention. I got ZERO response. I called customer service again and again no help. I literally just LOST $312.00 and got NOTHING in return from HOTELTONIGHT!!
I made a reservation under my name for my husband and me on the Hotel Tonight app on my phone. The day we left, I was delayed, and my husband went ahead to meet clients. I was not able to meet him until much later that night. I called the hotel to let them know my husband was checking in, not me. They told me I had to go through Hotel Tonight. I spent over an hour on the phone with Hotel Tonight customer service and was told I could not add my husband to my reservation, even though I was NOT canceling and was using the same credit card. I asked to have the reservation cancelled so I could book through the hotel. I was told there was nothing they could do because my reservation was unchangeable and unrefundable. I will never use this service again! In the future, I will always book directly through the hotel.
I stayed at this hotel a few months ago, booking through hotel tonight website. At check-in, the hotel took my credit card. At check-out, they confirmed I owed $0 and gave me a print-out showing that.Despite that, I was later charged for the room on my credit card without receiving any bill or receipt. The hotel tonight contacted the hotel and confirmed I was overcharged.It has now been two months of repeated requests from the hotel for forms, emails, and “back office” reviews — yet no refund. Even today, after again confirming the mistake, they are requiring me to fill out more forms for what should be a simple correction.This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, and I would caution others to double-check their bills carefully. Please note: Hotel Tonight also didn't resolve the issue but instead, I was on hold with them for hours
