No good , bait and switch hotel rooms when you check in. Customer service Paolo offers no resolution . I’m out $600 . The room they switched me to had no heat and a broken bathroom window. I’m getting my friends to delete this app. My advice stick with a reputable company such as Expedia.
I mistakenly booked the wrong Fairfield Inn in Jacksonville when I had intended another property across town. Although I called Hotel Tonight instantly, they refused to help me, saying that "by contract" they could not cancel or move reservations. Fairfield Inn was sympathetic and did not bill me, but said Hotel Tonight's "by contract" excuse was a lie. Hotel Tonight charged me ultimately for the reservation I never used. Also, Hotel Tonight's price turns out to be the same as offered directly by Fairfield Inn -- their "bargain rates" are an illusion. Lesson: avoid this scamming third-party app and book directly.
The refund system is just atrocious. I would have had a better time trying to get my money back from someone mugging me than trying to work with Hotels tonight. They ruined my vacation and made me waste thousands of dollars because of this. From now on I will recommend using any other app than hotel tonight.
These people are the absolute WORST! This is a third party app and they are horrible at customer service! Terribly rude representatives that refuse to help you. If you decide to use them, I hope nothing goes wrong because they will absolutely NOT refund your money or try to accommodate you. Stick with booking directly through the hotel, the rates are not much different anyway and you are guaranteed satisfaction. We lost $106 because of them. Lesson learned.
Poor customer service. Their hard no refund policy is the epitome of absurd - if I'm sitting in a hotel room that is wildly unacceptable, with bugs and leaks, I should expect any reasonable company to offer at least a partial refund so I can stay at a different hotel, especially considering one of their "features" is that they pre-vet hotels.Edit - they have since called the hotel and our accommodations were changed. It worked out well, so hopefully the issues we've had in the past were due to just one or two employees.
