Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I used Hotels Tonight to book a hotel in Daytona beach this past weekend. They completely messed up the booking. When I got to the hotel I found out that they had cancelled the booking and had given me no communication hat they had done so. They said it was cancelled because my phone number hadn't been verified. No email, no call, no alert via the app to let me know that this needed to be done. i started off speaking with Jordan. We spoke for almost 3 hours (starting at 1 am) with no resolve. He told me he saw where I booked but that ultimately it was the company's fault that I had nowhere to sleep. He offered to send me to another hotel nearby for $69 for the first night and then $100 for each additional night. My vacation was for 3 nights. Big difference from the $40/night hotel I'd booked with them. I requested a manager and got Liliana. Not only was she completely rude but she told me she couldn't even do what the prior rep did for me. Our conversation ended with her hanging up on me. This business's customer service is HORRIBLE and I'l make sure that everyone knows it.

I wish I had seen these reviews before…

I wish I had seen these reviews before I made a reservation through this company, that too in a foreign country (Geneva, Switzerland, although our hotel was on the French side of the border). These people are total bozos, who are out to steal their customers' money. As other reviewers have pointed out, they are a scamming company that should be out of business.

Scam! Horrible. They steal your money. Hotel tonight? Not if booked after 12am. They will take your money and then say oh we can’t book after 12am or it will count for the next day when you don’t need it anymore.

HOTEL TONIGHT IS A SCAM! They sold us a room that was not available and did nothing to reconcile the situation. When I called to explain our horrible experience to a customer service agent she made every excuse she could think of and was very unprofessional - talked over me continuously and was very defensive. The company took no responsibility for the extra expenses that we incurred.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - unethical business - will not ever use again!!

stayed a the dewberry in charleston and had a awful stay. they wanted to give me money off my stay but couldn't because I booked through hotel tonght. I tried contacting them and they did not respond. stay away! book through the hotel directly!!!

I booked a hotel for my daughter and…

I booked a hotel for my daughter and made a typo on the email address. We called to give the correct email address so she could get a confirmation to be reimbursed through her company. We were told they couldn't do anything we would have to go through her email. We couldn't because it was a non-existent email address. They told us that we would be out the money. We were on the phone with this problem for over an hour. It is better to use someone that has better customer service.
