Support given

My experience was very good i was supported all the way through with my move to Lime Gardens by the manager Carl and especially the deputy Manager Karen . But i must mention the Housing officer Jolene she was a great help and supported me all the way though kept me informed all the way through . If she said she would do something she did and followed it through with a phone call then backed it up with an email. Her support was excellent it was a very difficult move and she was more help all the way through more so than my solicitor. Im very pleased with the support i have been given and enjoying living at Lime Gardens .

Improvements

At the moment we are having new bathrooms and kitchens done to improve the flats ( although neither of mine are done yet ) but what I have seen they are looking very nice so it’s great that they are ploughing money back into the village

New lease of life after being widowed.

It gave Mum a new lease of life for some years. She made so many friends in there and sat in the communal lounge from just after lunch to bedtime everyday as we were unable to get her out the last year after she broke her hip. The only negative was that some of the rules in the lounge were unnecessarily restricting. Mum lived there from around August 2014 ( I think ) until she passed away August 2025

The Housing manager and her staff

The Housing manager and her staff , have patience and they listen to you, and your problem is delt with straight away, or with in 24 hours. I think listening is very important. Nothing is to much trouble.

Granted my request to move to a ground floor flat which as made my quality of life better. The staff are very friendly

Property damage.

Went to see our scheme manager about a leak from the above apartment, the manager sorted the problem straight away. What we like about housing 21 is the openness and clarity what they need to do.

High praise & standards

I am an external physiotherapist that is employed by one of the residents at Willowfields Bilston. I have witnessed the change from midland heart to housing 21 over the past four years. I can honestly say the management team (Jo and Sarah)are out standing. Very accommodating and willing to help with any requests i have. I have also supplied fitness classes for residents and can happily state it holds a great community environment. The gym facilities are always clean and well maintained. Management have also approved wall art to keep the gym users motivated and focused, this was at the request of a resident. This is without a doubt one of the best assisted accommodation facilities I’ve attended. Keep up the good work.

having read all the negative reviews…

having read all the negative reviews for the last 12 months i can only find one that has been resolved it seems you tend to pass the buck back to the resident asking them to write to the complaints team why don' t he complaint's team deal with any negative comments directly i am a tenant at carlton cresent stockport

Since moving in we have found every thing above our expectations the Management , Tracey and Ian have been very helpful and supportive . We do not regret choosing Housing 21 and would recommend highly.
