Terrible customer service and complete lack of accountability.I booked a flight with this airline for July 12, 2025 (E9 872 MCO-MAD). A few days before departure, they sent me an email saying the flight had been moved to July 19 and gave me the option to cancel for a full refund. Since I couldn’t accept the change, I had no choice but to buy a new ticket with another airline.Then, they suddenly said the change was a mistake, and my original flight was still valid — but by that time, I had already spent money on the new ticket. I've sent multiple emails, tried calling, and have received absolutely NO response.They caused confusion, financial loss, and now I’m worried they’ll mark me as a "no show" and deny my refund entirely. This is beyond unprofessional — it feels like they just ignore customers once they get your money.Avoid this airline if you value your time, money, or sanity.
Had my flight cancelled from Bangkok to Madrid and moved to a different day, meant I missed a connection flight and didn’t get any help from the airline. No compensation and I had to pay for a whole new flight ticket out of my own pocket. It’s impossible to get hold of anyone. Horrendous airline do not use.
I booked a Tourista+ package flight with Iberojet from Punta Cana DR to Madrid Spain. One week prior, I received a booking confirmation reminder with different seat numbers than the one I paid for.Upon check in, there was a slight issue with the counter agent, but it was remedied quickly (nothing to do with the flight).There was a posted notice in Spanish that Iberojet had changed the plane, when in fact they had actually contracted out the flight to another airline.Having paid for Tourista+, to include per-ordered meals, larger seat, higher quality pillow & blanket, welcome drink - I received none of this and even lesser quality service.Even the guest next to me was shaking her head at the poor service I received, even after asking and showing the attendant my receipt for the upgraded service.The temperature was absolutely freezing and I had to ask more than 4 times to receive a standard blanket.Upon landing, I received an apology and confirmation that they would note the error of missing my service upgrade purchase and ensure it followed up the service line.Upon landing I immediately went to the Iberojet service counter. The agent there, confirmed all complaints have to go through the website and he has confirmation of my issues on this flight recorded.I went through proper channels and provided documentation regarding my booking, upgraded purchase and the 164 Euro paid for the Tourista+ services that were not provided.After nearly 3 weeks, I received a routed reply through Avoris Travel Booking Services and generated by Avoris Zendesk AI Bot containing many excuses and strange references such as,"Having made the appropriate checks on the issue you have raised, we inform you that on occasions, due to a change of aircraft for operational needs, the seats contracted may not coincide with those reserved, but they are always provided respecting the characteristics agreed.Concerning the rest of the services, we confirm that they were correctly requested, and there is no evidence of any incident on board."They have completely denied and ignored the actual happenings. I will be continuing to pursue the issue, as well as post as many reviews warning others as possible.DO NOT FLY WITH IBEROJET!!! They do not provide the services advertised.
Worst flight I've had in my life. I have an hand injury, I paid for all seat upgrades but the seat wasn't convenient for my hand. I asked to be downgraded, the staff made no effort to even try to accomodate my request they jut refused immediately. Also, they decided I am smoking in the toilets and opened the door while I was using the toilets. They didn't find nothing since there wasn't nothing. Yet, they decided to yell at me, tell me they will reach out to the police, make an emergency landing etc. Never in my life this had happened to me and I'm flying for 30 years.
Flight San Jose Costa Rica - MadridFlight no. E9858 on 15 April 2025Besides an hour delay which was expected, when boarding were separated by groups to board the plane and the announcement was only in Spanish, so we didn't board the plane with our group (2) and this resulted in us not having a space for our backpacks. Also some of the staff was not very friendly especially Valentina who arrogantly told me that I cannot take photos on board the plane (when I was taking a picture of my mother)The seat infront of me was damaged and couldn't stay up so for a 10 hour flight i had the screen across my face which was not very pleasant.
What a humiliation, rude, and poor service, stressful and painful experience I've received from Iberojet on Punta Cana airport on 25th March.Namely, I had reservation/paid ticket for my flight from Punta Cana to Madrid (Barajas airport) and, as usual, came timely on Punta Cana airport to check in for my flight. Iberojet staff told me your reservation doesn't exist, you can't check in. I was shocked, showed them my reservation received from Iberojet, and showed them my credit card payment and confirmation, Iberojet didn't want to listen me. At one point, they start to talk with other customers, completely neglecting my presence there. In addition, the only staff person who knew the English language told me that I can't check in and board on flight and even started to help other customers to fill in Dominican Republic entry/exit application, neglecting my presence. When I insisted on checking with their reservation service, guy made some screenshot and, after ten minutes, said to me with the smile on his face "I've told you, you can't fly, I've just received confirmation from company". I was shocked, repeating that has to be some kind of mistake by Iberojet, but they didn't want to hear me anymore. After an additional 15 minutes of ignorance and rude reluctance to allow me to approach the counter, I again managed to approach the counter and literally begged them to check again. The reaction of the Iberojet male staff was unbelievably unprofessional and rude by saying "Look mister, if you want to fly on this plain, you'll need to purchase a new ticket which will cost you 1.160Eur, and you have only 3 minutes to do so".I could hardly speak after that statement, was in a deep shock, and my stress level was enormous.After 5 minutes, all 3 Iberojet staff members left the check-in area without a single word to me.Couldn't believe what happened to me, had to go back around 10.45pm from the airport. I had to book another flights for tomorrow, via other airlines and immediately sent my complaints via Iberojet website complaint form and received some silly mail replies that my reservation has been canceled by me, and I have received compensation funds for that reservation????I replied that there must be some mistake and that their reply is disturbing like their service on the Punta Cana airport.Then I've sent my complaint inquiry to the Iberojet reservation department and soon received mail where they were apologizing for the mistake, which has been caused by their reservation system mistake????Such a horrible, stressful, and painful experience caused by rude and unprofessional customer service from Iberojet, causing me to miss my business meeting back home.Everyone can make mistakes, but what differentiates good from bad customer service is the way your staff is handling that...this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life (I'm traveling for over 35years)!
I bought flights on October 2024 and March 2025 through booking.com . They got cancelled one day before the travel date (. I have not been refunded as accorded. Customer Service never helps, it´s being months with frustration and loss since i had to pay that money to my credit card.
Avoid at all cost, cheap prices - costly experience.04-Sep we book seats for a group, same that they reject a day after receive the payment. Costumer service had us until todays 13.11 back and forth to require second payment via bank transfer that also was rejected by them. Until todays date aroung 6,000 euros still lost on their books and the booking canceled one month before the expected departure.Please be safe and avoid this experience for you.
