Apalling service . My husband set this up for me instead of Giffgaff . BIG mistake the signal which ID claim is lies it did not work in parts of Norfolk where I live and work . Shetland and Orkney it does not work . So basically all the places I need it to work no signal . Then my husband wanted to cancel the plan how difficult you have made this . We have just been charged for another month of useless data . Finally we have manage to cancel but only after wasting £14 for nothing . You cannot speak to anyone finding how to email very difficult too . Think very carefully about using this company . The positive is ID carry over data allowance which mounts up when you have no way of using it . If you are in a city where there is good covered then worth it . We have a plan for my daughter that works well .If ID had not charged us again I would not have written all this . But it’s all true and I will never recommend
We were never able to use our mobile phones at home indoors & I tried a number of SIMS from various network providers, Id Mobile was the only provider where we could consistently use our phones indoors. Id Mobile offer a great product at a competitive price, my only negative is if there is an issue as there was initially, it is extremely difficult to speak with a real person to resolve the issue but it is offered as an online service!
For the past 4 weeks I have not been able to send or receive messages, or to make or receive calls when out and about in Birmingham. On Saturday I sent a text to my wife from Birmingham City Centre around midday; but she didn't get until I got home, when she got the message. I also get the message "NO NETWORK IS AVAILABLE" whenever I try to use my phone when I am out and about. I actually had to go to a Mobile Shop to ask if iD is still ALIVE and KICKING. He told me that iD is still working. I am rather surprised because until I got my recent phone, and while using mu OLD phone I never had any problem texting or calling with iD.
After cancelling an order and getting confirmation of this on the web chat while speaking with a person. I was still sent the phone and I am still being charged for it. I returned the phone and ID mobile still billed me. Customer service is non existent, chatting on the chat is a very long winded experience as the agents must be working on multiple chats at once. No phone number to contact either. Called complaints but they were also useless. No written confirmations for cancellations, they just tell you over the chat but then it never happens. Regretting not staying with 3 mobile. Will never use ID again after my contract runs out. On top of this they told me I had to pay the £14 to send the phone back tracked.
