My experience with iD Mobile has been nothing but a nightmare from start to finish. Their customer service is shockingly poor, and the staff I did manage to speak to were rude, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for anything.They took money from my account without my permission and have failed to refund it for over two months. Every time I contacted them, I got the same scripted line: “Please allow 3–5 days for the payment to be processed.” Well, it’s been far more than that, and STILL no refund.I ended my contract early because they lied about the coverage in my area. They claimed 4G and 5G worked perfectly here, but the signal was dreadful from day one. Calls dropping, data barely loading — completely unacceptable.To make matters worse, I returned my phone and I’m STILL waiting for the money I’m owed. Trying to reach them is practically impossible. Their Facebook messaging system is useless; every time you message, you get a different person reading from the exact same script, offering no real help and no actual solutions.This is an extremely poor company that clearly doesn’t care about its customers. Based on how they operate, I honestly don’t see them lasting long. Avoid iD Mobile at all costs — save yourself the stress, frustration, and lost money.
Update: After posting my review, I was contacted by ID to resolve the issue. I still did not receive the gift card (but bill credit instead). So I still did not receive what was promised, and had to post a review here in order to get someone to contact me to offer an alternative solution. ---Terrible experience from start to finish. I signed up for a SIM-only deal with the promise of a 60 pounds Amazon Voucher. I completed the steps, received the confirmation, and the voucher never arrived. When trying to claim the gift card, I was sent back and forth to Giftcloud and ID Mobile, with each one blaming the other, and zero resolution. When I reached out, I received shocking customer service, poor agent attitude, and received incorrect information constantly. I wasted hours to be told to go back to Giftcloud, etc, and no one seemed to care. I had to push to log a complaint constantly. I ONLY signed up for the SIM due to the offer, I have no real use for it otherwise.

Ordered 3 eSIMs for me and my kids from Carphone Warehouse to switch to ID Mobile. One eSIM was delivered the other 2 cancelled saying security checks didn’t pass. When contacted Carphone Warehouse they said call ID Mobile but you can’t call them - live chat only. After ages I got connected to ID Mobiles who said to contact Contact Carphone Warehouse because they did the security checks. They are both one company ultimately. What the ?When I asked the agent where can I leave a review, he hung up (ZiZiPhoo was his ID). AVOiD
Had no service for weeks due to issue with Esim.Eventually for through to CS on the app , replacement physical SIM ordered and delivered but won't activate after activation on the app as instructed, back to CS and absolutely useless chatbot, I've an existing complaint that's gone unanswered.so basically paying for something I can't use. Not happy in the slightest, I'll be cancelling if they don't get it sorted asap .. absolutely frustrating and chatbots aren't the way to go dealing with customer queries,it's absolutely useless .Need someone to contact me asap I'm chasing ID no longer
