Upgrading is a hassle

I've been with ID Mobile for a few years and I'm generally happy with the service, but upgrade time is always stressful. It's annoying when I have to ring and haggle for a better price at upgrade time - you should be giving loyal customers a better deal than new customers, not a worse one. The phone cover was a bit rubbish for the £30 cost and I got a much better one in a local shop for £15.Delivery was a shambles, DPD didn't give me a delivery slot as promised, or send me a code to tell the courier, so I wasn't home and they left it with a neighbour.

Too difficult to speak to anyone

My husband was transferring from EE because he doesn’t use his phone much and ID mobile are cheaper. Trying to do this has been a nightmare and actually speaking to someone in India is very difficult. He is 84 and doesn’t need this hassle. We have been unable to do the transfer and are now cancelling the whole process. EE have staff who speak clear English and are more accessible so ID is cheaper for a reason !

It took a few visits to my account page to find a sim only upgrade, as I'm happy to keep my phone for another year. Then it was straightforward, although confirmation before checkout that my number remained the same would be good. Emails confirming new tariffs etc were quick .

Problems

After yet again going to Currys and complaining about the problems I have been having getting and receiving calls and texts, I am still running on just 1 bar. I have been given a new sim which has helped somewhat. Why is it that I’ve had so many problems with this service? that I pay for mthly with no help or guidance when things go wrong. The young man who helped me was very good but it took well over an hour to come to ( what I hope ) is a solution. I suggest that a more regular email upon how well your service is doing and if there are ongoing problems that customers should be informed.

Been with iD mobile for long it is so…

Been with iD mobile for long it is so far good as I only use Sim Only deal but the network is good apart from few times as that could be phone itself but overall I recommend iD Mobile.

Moved to this network and had new device the transition was very easy from phone to phone .Got regular updates from ID mobile even though haven’t been long with them but hope it’s a better experience then my last experience

Ive been with ID mobile from the beginning in 2015.I decided to go with a new emerging company rather than with one of the big name companies dominating the market.I have always been on a sim only deal as thats all I need.ID mobile has a huge range of deals to suit everyone and at really affordable prices.After 10yrs my deal has only recently increased from £4 to £6 pm. I have no complaints whatsoever.Great prices, Reliable network, and Great customer service. New sims arrive within 24hrs.Highly recommended by me.Im very happy to of chosen ID.
