I ordered a phone online for click and collect on Friday 26th Sept. I collected it from the Wilton Store that same day. When I came home to set up the phone, I was unable to access my snapchat account as the device had been banned from the previous owner. I contacted Cex Support and they told me I could get a full refund. I went back into the Wilton Store Sunday 28th Sept to explain my issue and thankfully the man behind the desk knew what I was talking about and offered to do a direct swap for me. I took this phone home to set it up and again there was more issues with it. The phone was attempting to update for at least 1.5 hours, with no sign of it finishing & the phone became extremely hot. I couldn't even swipe up on the phone to unlock it and it wasn't able to turn off, the loading sign would come up on the screen and revert back to the "Hello" screen and I still couldn't swipe up to use the phone. I had to go back into the store on Sunday evening, the staff had the same issues and concerns as me trying to open it and I was given a third phone. I had no issues setting it up, however, I was told this phone was unlocked, there was a sticker on the phone stating this also, but unfortunately this was false as it would not accept my Sim card. As you can imagine I'm extremely annoyed as I do not have time to go back into the store for a fourth time to have this unlocked and had to pay 70€ euro on 8th Oct online to unlock it and it’s still locked. I reached out to your customer support team who told me ye don’t offer unlocking… madThe 3 staff members I dealt with were so helpful and apologetic. I think your company needs to do better background checks on these second hand phones as it was a serious inconvenience to me having to trek in store 4 times.
