Missing items and customer service told me that because they are not in stock , why sell people incomplete items. In the website and receipt its complete but not the actual product that you give to your customers. I just dont understand that you still send the product even its incomplete and unusable jjst for the sale and tell the customer to mail it back for the refund (what a way to resolve the issue) why not just cancel the order in the first place?
In the Kilkenny store, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude, did not look me in the eye once, cut off my sentences when I tried to explain that I had not been made aware of the returns policy to return a tablet I bought less than two weeks ago for college. I was originally told that the tablet would be suitable to take written notes on, only to find that it is not compatible with any type of stylus pen. After finding this out, I came into the Kilkenny store where I originally bought the tablet to return it as soon as I could. I had also purchased a screen protector and case (in a seperate shop) and when mentioned to the staff member when calculating 'sell back price' all I got was "that's nothing to do with us" with a condescending look. I was told that the Samsung tablet I had purchased less than 2 weeks ago for €125 (including a charging cable that did not work), that I would only receive €53 in return as I had to "sell it back to them". That is less than half of what I paid for the tablet, that I havent even had for two weeks. I was appalled. It did not show any information about this on my receipt and as mentioned, I was in no way informed of this when I purchased the tablet. I was told "its on our website" and when I enquired about the lack of this information on the receipt, I was met with "it shouldn't have to be" both statements said in an extremely rude and exasperated tone. What if someone didn't have access to your website until after they purchased a device? Why have a shop if everything is on the website and not on their paper receipts? The staff member was so dismissive, rude and patronising that it has made me never want to shop there again. All I was trying to do was to return a tablet to get my money back to purchase one of use to me for college, instead I was made to feel idiotic and small. Absolutely ridiculous way to treat customers.
