Absolutely appalled by the delivery experience.
My order was split across three separate delivery drivers ARC and DPD for the other 2, yet somehow still arrived incomplete and damged.
Several items were missing, parts were absent from boxes, and some of the packaging was visibly burst on arrival with vital parts bent on opening.
For a company of IKEA’s scale and reputation, this is simply unacceptable.
The delivery service itself was chaotic taking 4 drivers to complete the order and now I have extra items that require uplifted.
No clear communication, inconsistent text updates, and long periods spent indoors waiting with no indication of when (or if) the drivers would arrive.
I wasted 2 entire days rearranging my schedule only to be left with half a bed and no clear explanation.
To make matters worse, contacting customer services has been incredibly difficult with limited accountability, although IKEA had a sense of urgency in resolving missing parts the script for apology was evidently insincere.
As for the excessive delivery charges paid, I expected a smooth, professional service — not a fragmented, substandard experience.
I expect far better from IKEA. This has been inconvenient, frustrating, and completely avoidable with proper coordination and basic customer communication.
Very disappointing.

I arranged for a kitchen installation in October 2025. The delivery truck struck the gutter on my house above the front door causing damage. IKEA Ireland redirected to me the delivery company who have so far failed to arrange the gutter replacement as of February 2026. IKEA have continuously redirected me to the delivery company rather than assisting directly to resolve the issue.

Additionally the kitchen fitters communicated poorly, did not clean up after themselves leaving sawdust in the cabinets and there was cosmetic damage to the walls around the installation of plug sockets.

Le magasin est resté muet pendant 2 semaines. J'ai dû envoyer deux emails au service central pour que le remboursement soit enfin déclenché, mais IKEA Vernier n'a même pas pris la peine d'envoyer un email de confirmation. Pire encore, la réponse du responsable sur Google Maps est d'un ton moralisateur au lieu de s'excuser. Le prix abordable ne justifie pas ce manque de respect.

(English Version) Terrible customer experience at IKEA Vernier. Due to the staff's lack of explanation, I was charged twice (20 CHF) for a lost ticket. The store remained silent for two weeks. I had to email the central service twice to get my refund, yet IKEA Vernier didn't even send a confirmation email. To make matters worse, the manager's response on Google Maps was patronizing instead of apologizing. Affordable prices do not justify such contempt for customers.

The IKEA website shoves a main page huge video down your throat with erratic zooms thats completely dizzying. then when you move your mouse every square cm of the site has some hover link where it opens up some popup, you cant even look at the info on the page because its so intrusive. are we sure IKEA doesnt stand for IDIOTS AT WORK?

Extremely unsatisfactory customer support I reached out to the company multiple times via messaging to inquire about a basic question:
whether my address in a specific location is eligible for delivery before making a purchase. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, I experienced: * being passed between representatives
* being directed to different contact numbers
* being advised to place an order without any delivery confirmation
* receiving ignored messages or generic replies
* responses in various languages that didn't address my question I asked the same question repeatedly and never got a definitive **yes or no**. The representatives seemed confused about the issue and continued to redirect me without providing assistance. This experience was very disappointing for a well-known brand. If customer support struggles to answer a simple delivery inquiry, how can we have confidence in the service? ❌ Unprofessional

❌ Time-consuming I hope the company enhances its customer support and provides better training for its representatives.

AVOID THIS DISHWASHER AT ALL COSTS! It starts leaking after just three months and fails to clean properly. Even the smallest particles cause clogs. I've tried every type of soap and various water temperatures, but nothing works. The dishwasher arms are nearly impossible to clean and seem designed to be disposable. It's disappointing that the company partnered with another brand, as it might tarnish their reputation. The cycle lasts an excessive four hours. I would prefer a less 'efficient' model that actually cleans. The filter traps food and then sprays it back onto the dishes, making them dirtier than if I had washed them by hand. I even ran it without the filter to see if that helped, but it made no difference. I modified the arms by drilling larger holes to improve water flow, which worked temporarily, but the issue returned. It seems the dishwasher doesn't use enough water, likely in an attempt to be more 'eco-friendly,' resulting in soap and food residue being left behind. It's shocking how companies can get away with such poor quality. The dishwasher is also starting to rust, and several parts on the top rack broke after just one year! It's outrageous to pay $800 for this level of performance. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

An extremely disappointing experience. It's unfortunate that I ordered multiple storage containers but they couldn't be delivered to my home address for some unknown reason. I had to request delivery to a storage location far from me, as the store is even further away. The delivery email indicated a time frame from 10 to 12pm a week later. However, I found out that I needed to be present to collect from a vehicle, which is an unfamiliar pickup method for me. The driver was polite on the phone and mentioned that this situation occurs often, but he had to leave since I would arrive 5 minutes after the scheduled time if I hurried. He also mentioned that the delivery might return the next day as he had informed the company about the issue. Just a minute after our call, I received a notification that my order was canceled and a refund would be processed! I attempted to resolve the issue online, but there were no contact options available. So, I placed a new order for the same items, but half of them were unavailable! It's such a frustrating and illogical way to conduct business. Why couldn't I simply reschedule? I was paying for delivery on both occasions. I'm quite dissatisfied with this unprofessional and convoluted approach to delivery.

I am very unhappy with the customer service and delivery process provided by the company. I placed an order for a wardrobe on 02/01/26, with the first delivery set for 09/01. On the day of delivery, the app indicated “order on the way,” so I took an unpaid day off work to wait at home. Unfortunately, nothing arrived. After 7pm, I received a message stating that the delivery had failed, without any explanation.
The following day, I reached out to customer service. The representative was unaware of what had occurred, could not find my order, and provided no clear information. She rescheduled the delivery for 18/01, but shortly after, I received an email asking me to pay again, despite having already paid in full on 02/01/26.
A few days later, I got another email changing the delivery date to 20/01, again requesting payment for an order that was already settled. This entire situation has been incredibly disorganized, frustrating, and unprofessional. The company has now postponed the delivery until 20/01, citing a lack of capacity, which is entirely their fault. I have lost time, money, and trust in a service I expected much more from. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Delivery service experience was disappointing

The delivery service was extremely frustrating! My order was not delivered as scheduled on the 2nd of January, and I have yet to receive any communication about a new delivery date. This level of service is unacceptable and very disappointing.

Extremely Disappointing Return Experience

I visited the store to return some items that were clearly labeled, but I had to wait 20 minutes to talk to a representative who refused the return without a receipt. After finding the receipt just 5 minutes later, I returned to the same line, only to be made to wait another 20 minutes by the employee, who was quite rude. The lack of empathy and respect for older customers was shocking. It was truly frustrating to deal with such unkind behavior.
