I got scammed and get ignored when…

I got scammed and get ignored when reaching out to customer support. This is extremely sad, after ordering 2 times where the first order got lost, im still waiting 2 months now for my order that i prob will never get, DHL support says the tracking link is not correct, and customer support just replys with a automated AI but never get back to me, never buy from this company, also reading all the reviews im not the only person getting scammed by iStrap... How can this company still be legit?

This company is a scam when it comes to…

This company is a scam when it comes to their delivery timeframes. The website says 24 hours delivery and i ordered a strap for my wedding. The 24 hours delivery is a scam especially for customers in New Zealand. Their website doesn’t say it’s being shipped from Australia. I ordered on 5 May and I was travelling overseas on 10 May. They don’t have a customer care phone number. I contacted them via email on 6 May and that’s when I was informed it may not reach the same week. Since it was within 24 hours of placing the order and I didn’t receive any email of the item being dispatched, I requested to cancel the order. They did not cancel it and said I can return the order. I informed them I will be overseas and I can only return once I’m back in NZ.When I got back to NZ and reached out to them after a month, they say I can’t return it because it’s just over a month now. I haven’t even opened the item package. This is such an untrustworthy company and please don’t buy from them.

iStrap have been asking for a review…

iStrap have been asking for a review for a strap that was ordered 4 weeks ago and still hasn't been received! Just about impossible to follow up with no phone no or real contact details. Seems the messages back are just from bots. Tracking details provided don't exist in the stated courier's systems! Have tried to follow up 3 times with no reply other than my ticked will be forwarded to the relevant team! I continue to wait....and wait..

Really bad customer service and slow delivery

I got an email on the 8th of April that said that my package was on its way. It has now been 19 days and it hasn’t moved. The tracking says that it’s in Alexandria and awaiting processing but as I said - it has not moved. They pride themselves on having fast delivery but nothing is happening. They are hard to get a hold of and won’t respond if you send them an email asking for help. These bands are not cheap. I expected better.

Cases are good, but straps.. meh

I’ve been supporting iStrap for awhile now but I must say that I stand by their cases. While their protective cases have excellent touch sensitivity and quality, they are made of glass and can crack easily. Two of my cases cracked by my seatbelt buckle, both surprisingly (that I can hit the buckle with my watch) and not (it’s glass, duh!). No real complaints there. However, the straps are questionable. I do enjoy the overall quality of the straps, the clip used to attach it to the watch is quite low quality (made of cheap metal). I bought a few over the past years, most notably the sport loop and the leather ones (favourite ones so far). I’ve had my straps for maybe a year or so, but all of them had snapped and bent at the Apple Watch attachment piece, which is a shame since the strap is still standing strong. I’m debating on whether or not I should reorder some of the straps I had gotten, or support what seems to be a fast fashion company that sells straps at a rather expensive price but of quality that could be made better. I doubt it takes much more effort/money to design those attachment pieces out of solid metal. Shame!

Cheap quality and just a scam!

Feels really cheap quality and doesn't look very nice. Also the support is really bad and they mislead customers on their returns policy. Avoid these guys as it's basically just a scam to get you to buy cheap quality bands. You're much better spending a tiny bit more and going to Apple directly, the quality is so much better than iStrap.Edit (11/04/25) in response to their reply... firstly they don't have a clearly stated returns policy, and secondly their team haven't been happy to assist with the return otherwise I wouldn't be posting here. It's also really hard to get hold of them as they have an annoying AI bot that emails you instead of a human. Honestly don't waste your time with these guys!

Worst customer service ever. Support will ignore you.

Worst customer service ever. Support will ignore you.Website is misleading and deceptive in regards to returns and their policies.Bought a band which turned out to be the wrong size. Should have been fine, as website promotes a hassle-free swap, but the experience is far from this."Ordered the wrong size? Changed your mind? Or just not feeling it? No worries—swap it out hassle-free until you find the perfect match."All I was after was a direct swap to the correct size, like their policy and their website suggests should be hassle-free. However a credit note was given, which if you purchased items at any discount (such as a welcome code basically given to everyone), will now result in you having to pay full price for every "swapped" item, plus shipping.iStrap refuse to provide a refund, given they won't do a direct swap for the correct size.- It took 3 weeks for them to process the return after receiving the item.- I struggled to get in touch with anyone; when I did, I only received generic, copy-pasted responses.- Instead of a simple swap for the correct size, I was forced to accept a credit note, but now I have to pay more for the same item, plus additional shipping.- After all of this, they completely ignored further attempts to communicate and closed my ticket. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
