Scam company, bans people for minuscule reasons but allows streamers and certain “known” people to bot or real world trade or to flame, account share etc.The management in Jagex are scamming little fks. DO NOT BUY MEMBERSHIP OR WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS GAME
Iv'e played this game since 2006, dispite this and having never botted a single time in my life. i can't get a hacked account back because THEY botted, no discussion, just you CANNOT appeal. Pathetic, and i was going to support them some more but this just sours my experience. Lame Jagex.
My account was hacked, hijackers imported my login to their jagex account,2k total iron with 350m bank gone, nothing but automated responses they refuse to respond to after they tell you to respond to them.Nobody in this company actually works, hope the building collapses.
I was harassed by leaders of a large Runescape player group I left. When I asked to be left alone, player mods who are members of that player group inappropriately used their authority to ban me from the Runescape Discord server. It has been one year now, all petitions and messages to Jagex are completely ignored. The only reply I ever received only made it clear the person had not read the information. After that, every message, social media post, and in-game petition has been completely ignored (automatically closed without comment).
This company should be ashamed of itself. I get that there is a procedure to be followed. But never manually recovering an account because there might be "human error" involved is just bull****. It's called being absoluty lazy.My phone got stolen and they stole my mail --> they changed the account name. So no way of recovering without jagex's involvement. All companies did this (discord, riot, ticketmaster, ... etc). Except for Jagex of course.
Tried cancelling three memberships, two successfully cancelled, the third of course billed about a week later. After integrating to a jagex account I find it difficult to switch between characters. I went through and none showed an active subscription. I contacted support, asking for a refund on the membership. No response, they send an automated email stating some bogus ticket number had been updated. There’s no way to even view open tickets that I can find. I’ve played this game for probably 18 years. I have never had issues like this. Very pathetic, I won’t be returning.
