We have been waiting seven months for our insurance claim to be finalised. While the claim was originally approved in full, we have only received £2,000. Concerns that were never raised during the initial assessment were introduced after approval, leading to a substantial reduction in the payout.

The storm inflicted serious damage on our property, and after such a prolonged delay, receiving only a fraction of the expected amount is deeply worrying. It leaves us in a difficult position, unsure how we are meant to fund the essential repairs with such limited support.

We relied on Just Landlord to handle this process fairly and efficiently, but the outcome has been both frustrating and unacceptable.

Contacted JL to discuss the quote as it had increased substantially. I stated i had been with JL since 2013 and never claimed. Charlotte helped with options but needed Managers advice.She informed me a email would be sent.Next day as no email received i spoke to Wendy.She apologised and was helpful. She would talk to the Manager who was this time in the Office. A revised quote was given and accepted.

WAITING 11 days for a refund!

WAITING 11 WORKING DAYS days for a refund!I cancelled my policy and was told I was eligible for a refund of £19.99 on the 23rd Jan and confirmed the refund would take 7-10 working days.I rang the company asking why on the 10th working day I STILL hadn't received the refund due to me.I have therefore had to ring again on the 11th day to find out where my refund is. I shouldn't have to wait 7-10 days for a refund never mind 11 days. I always get the same response, it is being investigated 😡

10 weeks+ to resolve a claim.

Q: How do you rate an insurance company once you get past the quote? A: By having to make a claim. I'm giving 1 star review because 10 weeks later, despite being appointed a loss adjuster (apparently to speed the process up), I still do not have resolution to my claim. Be careful who you choose to be your insurance company. I certainly will be choosing someone else.

Very good customer service on my…

Very good customer service on my renewal - had noticed the policy had crept up a bit, and was able to work with them to increase coverage of some things and eliminate others in order to almost halve the monthly premium. Very friendly as they worked through this.They are very pleasant to deal with when making a claim as well - they may not always pay out, but their process throughout is transparent and non-adversarial - so when the outcome isn't in your favour you go "fair enough" rather than *angry man shakes fist at clouds* and part as friends!

Fees increased and interest free payments dropped

Giving 3* based on good customer service and an overall positive experience over the years. However, I am now going elsewhere as they have significantly increased their admin charge per property and quietly dropped their zero interest monthly payments. I will miss the convenience of a single policy, but I'm afraid the saving added up to several hundred pounds a year across my portfolio.

Been with JL for ages, but recently they do not answer the phone, and despite my emails and calls to VASEK insurance who I believe own JL, no responce.
