I can verify that the "scam!" reviews are right. Someone waited 9 years for their SegShoes product. I got in contact with the person and they are still waiting for the SegShoes to arrive. Go to this website to give your money to unemployed losers. 99% of the time you just throw away $45. That's like giving money to a charity that doesn't do anything. Today was the second time in a row I tried to bake something here. Second time in a row i got scammed. No refund possible. Dont know what got into me to try it a second time.Kickstarter should get banned or sued for being a platform for illegal money fraud collection.
I've had 2 jobs from kickstarter and the 1st I didn't get paid on time or all of what I was to get. in the second I was used for labour then fired without and proper reason when asked why he said we were not compatible that's it. everyone in the work place spoke Bulgarian and I was the only one who spoke fluent English. also because pronto print my second job my universal credit stopped because of an error made on there side. I've gone a month and a half with no payments from work or universal credit. and then fired.
A campaign (ERGOPLAX) with incredibly questionable motives is still active after breaking multiple Kickstarters rules, which are there to protect the backers.This campaign owner has doxxed and harassed multiple backers who are questioning it's transparency. They've openly lied to backers in their campaign, claiming to be an OEM factory and then adding an update to say they've 'lost their supplier', revealing they'd lied all along.Even with multiple reports to Kickstarter, updates that dox and harass a backer are still publicly visible on their site and they don't respond to any of these reports.Why? If they remove it, they lose their 5% cut of the funds.Absolutely disgusting.Update - this campaign, as predicted, was a complete scam. The person who created it ran away with the money instead of going to production. Kickstarter again refusing refunds, even after being negligent in ignoring all of these reports of the person running this campaign breaching multiple T&C.Kickstarter still holding on to their cut of the fraud here.
I ordered and paid for an artistic botanical deck of cards, then waited for the expected delivery date. The date kept getting moved months ahead. I had to move and my address change was goofed up, even though there was still ample waiting time to delivery. "Customer service" was uninformative, incompetent, uncaring and VERY rude. The product finally arrived-- to a forner address, so a friend had to mail it to me. Bad treatment from both Kickstarter and the artist. I will never back a project again, ever... which is really too bad for decent inventors out there! Kickstarter is a scam, and it attracts scammers instead of honest producers!
Don’t back anything on Kickstarter. Just go and buy it from a existing company. I trusted the platform and backed Adjustabot and it seems like all the backers are the losers since they take 5% on the total backing amount raised via their platform.
