The 5-star reviews are a bit misleading. This product is fine, but not nearly as impressive as the promotions suggest. It’s also very noisy, which makes it less appealing for everyday use. I’ll be sticking with my Babyliss and GHDs for day-to-day styling. That said, the Lily Styler does have one advantage: it’s lightweight and compact, so I can see it being handy for travelling when space is limited.
Bought it as a gift for my mum. Before sending it to her, I tried the lily stiler and gets really hot. I thick hair and hopefully it will be ok for my mum, short hair and not so thick. Good products but not made in London as it says, I think is from China. Hair is smoother after use but scared as at some point due to being so hot thought will burn my hair or my socket will get on fire.
All the adverts made me buy this- big mistake. My curls drop out within 10 mins, I’ve tried several times using different products to try and hold the curls with the same outcome. Wouldn’t recommend this at all. Contacted the company but no reply. What a surprise. Also smells of burning when using the high setting.
I purchased the lily styler following reading positive reviews, however from purchase I was disappointed. I paid for fast delivery/tracking and the product took over 2 weeks to arrive (I know understand this was coming from another country) however this wasn’t made clear at checkout. Part of the reason I purchased this was the “money back guarantee for 60 days” however having received the product, which clearly didn’t work, was noisy, the heads would fall off in use, and it didn’t curl, dry or straighten hair, I requested a refund, to which I was told was not possibly as the product had been opened. Despite asking how I was meant to know if the product was faulty without opening they only offered a 10% refund. I am really disappointed in the product and would not recommend.
